I have loved this restaurant for years. Food is always amazing. Unfortunately on our last visit on Sunday evening, the service was unacceptable. The food took 45 minutes to arrive (although not the waiters fault - he did eventually apologize for the delay). We should have been advised in advance if the kitchen was short of staff so that we could have had the opportunity to leave and go elsewhere.

Was in Laval and stopped by Vieux Duluth for dinner on a Wednesday. Very nice and clean restaurant. Food was fresh and excellent. Our waiter Dimitri also made our visit most enjoyable. He is by far the best waiter I have had in many restaurants in many years. Keep up the amazing work. Will be back. Thank you.

We get what we pay for. Cordial service but a little too expeditious, almost stressful so fast is fast. Very noisy though

A must-have! The meals are delicious and the portions are generous. The service is excellent. Alex and Dimitri listen to us and are there for us. We go there at least once a week. THANKS!

I admit that it had been a very long time since I had set foot in one of their franchises, and it was not my choice, it was a reservation for a cousin for a birthday and therefore my expectations were not that high...I was pleasantly surprised, the broiler chicken was excellent. apart from the noisy atmosphere (the ceiling is high, it resonates a lot), and perhaps the potatoes were quite ordinary, everything else was perfect

Very disappointed to have had two tables for a reservation without having been warned. I would have booked elsewhere had I known. The food is good though.

I received an almost charred souvlaki skewer. I told the waiter that I didn't want to eat my skewer so cooked. He picked up my plate not too happy. After at least 20 minutes, he brought me back an almost full plate of salad without rice or potatoes which arrived a little later. Not too strong in terms of kitchen service but as to be expected it's Old Duluth. I would love to never set foot there again. If I have a choice. this is my humble opinion...for life!
