The first time we came to this restaurant, the food was amazing! The first time we had the pad thai, phra ram. Honestly, one of the best restaurant in Montreal area. The 2nd time we came, we chose different dishes like the bo cuon, bo basilic. They weren’t quite as memorable as the first time around but were still delicious!

Green Basil is simply my favorite! Each visit is a true culinary journey. The dishes are tasty, fresh and always well presented. The atmosphere is warm and soothing, ideal for enjoying a good meal. Tried the pho at the place, and unfortunately found it very substandard. It arrived very very quickly.. usually not something to complaint about, however when your meal lacks a bit of flavour, and is watery - you’d definitely rather have more care and a little bit more time invested in. Service was fair overall. Perhaps, could’ve tried some spiced-up thai dishes instead. Hopefully, another try some other time at this restaurant (or even pickup/delivery), helps me change this review. Prices aren’t too high.

Hello, first time going to this restaurant. I ordered takeout. In less than 5 minutes I already had everything ready in a bag. It was to realize that this place is like a Chinese buffet or a lunch counter in a low-end shopping center. Everything is prepared in advance in very large quantities and of poor quality and the bowls are filled. The pad thai was soaking in abundant liquid. Disgusting noodles and contents. The dumplings were nothing like smooth Thai dumplings with peanut sauce... but rather dumpling style purchased in bulk frozen foods, semi-fried and with soy type sauce but tasteless. I don't understand other people's opinions. This restaurant is totally unrecommendable from my part. I have never tasted worse. I noted 1 *, because I cannot put less.
