I was very underwhelmed by their food. The chicken and filet mignon were dry. The rice had no flavor. The grilled pita was limp and bland. In a city like Montreal (and Laval, where this restaurant is located) the bar for good grillades is very high, and this place didn’t impress.

I was there this Sunday May 26th in the afternoon in between 1h30pm-2pm. Ordered 2 beef and lamb brochettes as well as 1 lamb sandwich for pick up. Superb food, superb service. My generation is the generation that values people who work well all the way, which means who respects my hard earned money by offering great food and great service. That is exactly what I found here, at Farhat: great food. great service, respect for the hard earned money of their clients. This is rare nowadays (at many of their competitors, you really have the feeling that they do not care about the customer. At Farhat, I got that genuine feeling that they respect their customer). And the food was delicious. Long live Farhat!

Don't trust these people talking about brother and sister in islam and about halal food and they are on here telling lies and making sins. We were in the restaurant me and my husband and this woman and her husband wanted to hit the worker because they did not want to wait.
All the food is halal, these people are all liars, the food and the service is always the best !

All Muslim brothers and sisters be careful, they don't sell halal meat, it's a hoax!
