Ive been hearing about Gerard for a couple of years and this was my first visit. The TikTok comments have since let me know that I went to the wrong one. who gives a crap. The other one doesn’t look nearly as vibey.
Anyways, I’m not a big fan of fat soggy wet Quebec fries. I’m more of a thin crispy guy. For reference, my favourite poutine in Montreal is Patati patata. However! For a Quebec poutine this was very good. Delicious gravy and the cheese curd held its integrity right to the bottom of the tray.
Worth visiting this location for the aesthetic!

We ordered our meals and I asked for an extra glass of water since my 4 year old daughter only drinks water. They wanted to charge me $0.50 to pay for the glass!!!!! They refused to serve a child a free glass of water!!!!! First and last visit. I would be ashamed in their place.

Ayayaye! The service... a big bofff... Housekeeping was passable, But where there is a mega problem, no interact machine! You have to withdraw from an ATM ? I can't believe that in 2024... with cash being almost non-existent, owners aren't going out of their way for their customers! ATMs are stealing from us, it’s no secret! ! Personally, the decor is old style but I never went back to eat there in my life. ! By the time we served 2 hot dogs, 3 people had entered and left…. Come on! Update your service as you update your prices!!!!!

Very poor service, health needs to be reviewed... The owner handles the food on the grill with his hands after handling the money from the cash register. I had to remind him to go clean his hands and use the cooking utensils available to him.
