Great experience at Columbus Café inside Carrefour Laval Mall. The coffee was tasty, and the staff provided nice, friendly service. The environment is cozy and welcoming, making it a great spot to take a break while shopping.
What really stood out was the generous cup size for a reasonable price — especially surprising these days when many cafes offer smaller portions for the same cost. Definitely worth stopping by for a good coffee and a relaxing moment.

Serves the coffee wrong, literally just water. Were you even looking at what you were serving? Instead of making another coffee, wants to add a shot of espresso in the water. He wasnt even joking. Almost $6 for a coffee. Given how incompetent one making the coffee, this is not even worth 2$.

I visited this café hoping to enjoy a pastry and a coffee, but I was disappointed. My chocolatine was stale, and my latte tasted burnt and bland. On top of that, the two employees who served me (who appeared to be the managers or owners) were incredibly rude and didn’t even make eye contact when taking my order or serving me.
Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time, as a few of my friends have mentioned receiving similar treatment here. That said, the younger staff members working at the café are polite, attentive, and genuinely make an effort to listen to their customers’ needs.
