What a wonderful experience!
My group ate here three times, and each time the food was excellent—fresh fruit, delicious salmon, perfectly made crepes, and great service all around.

Maria Ann made us feel so welcome. She was incredibly attentive without ever making us feel rushed. Somehow, she always knew the perfect time to check in, offer more coffee, and make sure we were comfortable.

If you decide to eat here, definitely ask for Maria Ann—you’ll be glad you did.

Also, a bonus for anyone with dietary needs: they offer gluten-free bread!

Thank you, Maria Ann, for your outstanding service. Five stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

At Cora Déjeuner in Laval, we feel right at home the moment we walk in. The fresh food, friendly smiles, and warm atmosphere make breakfast a comforting experience. It’s like gathering with family for a perfect start to the day.

On their website and in their door they announce that they open at 6:00 a.m. but at 7:00 a.m. they were still closed. We had to look for another place for lunch.

I tried the halloumi and chorizo casserole. While the flavors were pleasant, there was a major issue with the dish’s foundation: the potatoes. The casserole is designed to mix its components (chorizo, hollandaise sauce, egg, and sun-dried tomatoes) with the potatoes, but they are served in large, unchopped pieces. This makes it difficult to blend the ingredients properly, and you’re left struggling to mix it all together. The potatoes themselves were disappointing—some of the worst I’ve had at any breakfast chain.

Despite the dish falling short, the service was outstanding. Our server went above and beyond, ensuring we had a great experience with her communication and attentiveness. Overall, while the meal was underwhelming, the service made the visit worthwhile.

Parking: The parking is free - but if it gets busy, it becomes very difficult to find parking nearby - this is especially bad during the colder months.

Kid-friendliness: There are two large plush dolls of Minnie and Mickey. They also have high chairs, a kids menu and provide crayons for kids to draw while you wait.

It’s a restaurant like any other. There is no added value. The service is basic. Let's say yes it was good, but not to the point of saying I go back every week. Personally I didn't go wow, it's really good.

Parking: There isn't much room and it all depends on where you arrive. It can be very difficult to get into the parking lot at all.

Unbelievable ! I go for breakfast and as I don't eat much, I order one egg and one sausage, and coffee, nothing else. Well, imagine the egg being served in a saucer and the 3 sausages in another saucer. What about a "plate" !!!! I couldn't believe it. FOR THAT REASON ALONE, NOT COMING BACK.
