Waitress upset over the no tip really ruined the whole atmosphere for us tonight, said and I quote “so I served you guys for nothing??” I said we basically served ourselves and she rebutted with “okay but we took your plates” is that supposed to prompt us to tip you an egregious amount of money? I told her we are NOT obligated to tip and she just said “then maybe you guys shouldnt go out to restaurants” (it was just 2 of us BTW) we were extremely taken aback by this older asian woman who interrogated us for 10 mins for not leaving a tip even though we were extremely courteous and polite the whole time while declining. If you get this upset over getting no tips then respectfully go get another job instead of trying to force your clients to tip.

Disappointed with the experience. The food was honestly not good, and the service wasn’t any better. At the end, an employee approached me, clearly upset that I didn’t leave a tip. I explained that I didn’t enjoy the meal and that tipping is not mandatory. His response? A sarcastic laugh. I find it completely inappropriate for a server to go around asking for tips. A tip should reflect the quality of service not just picking up plates. The whole situation left a very bad impression.
