Went on july 6th for my bday ! I enjoyed my dinner. I love all types of music and performances so I was in my element! But this is not a place where you can invite anyone , especially if they are not fond of jazz or open minded... The food was ok. The drink was ok . Be careful with the 15$ band charge, they charge for each guests and that doesn't even cover the tips... In this economy, its a lil bit excessive for a none gastronomic restaurant. And restaurants with bands there's plenty like that in mtl and they dont charge for bands... Anyway, its a restaurant for special occasions but I'm not going to attend regularly... Nonetheless, I had fun!! The decor was amazing !!

The ambiance was nice plus the service was fairly quick. The food was not superb, we got the brisket but it came out a bit too salty for our liking. Overall a good place for listening to some Jazz and sipping on a bottle of wine.

We waited 3h30 minutes for our food. We were a group of 11. None of our drinks or water got refilled at all during the wait. They could not give us an estimated time for when our food would arrive. We were told they were busy as opposed to take accountability. Only when we asked to be somewhat compensated they took off the fee of the jazz show. Very disappointing. The jazz was amazing and some of the staff made up for it. But will not ever come back. 11 people dissatisfied = over 100 potential guests will be informed of this experience. I wish they would have been more accountable for this huge oversight. The birthday guest had to feel bad for all of her guests all evening.

A live show is the ultimate entertainment, there's no debate here. But if you're going to offer it in a restaurant setting, you better step it up a notch.
We saw Derek Fall it they were pretty solid! Very entertaining, engaging, diversified. More a all-rounder than blues per se but still excellent! The sax player stole the show and we even had a 8 years old little girl play the piano with them!! That was really something!
Menu offer is good (although has it's aberrations) but execution lacks a bit. Mussels in the jambalaya are sketchy (traces of dry and old meat in the shell). Wagyu ground beef? Give me a break! Pasta are bland, need to ask for salt (which took a while, friend's meal was cold by the time it came). Tartare was warm, that's scary!
Prices are steep : 1$ per calamari bite, 10$ domestic beer, 15$ glass of wine... Over the show surcharge (15$ in the main room). 2 person meal + alcool is over 250. I have no issue paying for the show, but you can't charge twice (explicitly + higher food price). I honestly expected to be treated better for those figures. Which brings us to service...
Service is where we have a real issue. At the end of the meal, 3½ hours after sitting down, the empty glasses from pre-dinner aperitif were still on the table. Along the whole meal plates and drinkware. The waitress, who didn't seem to want to be there that night, only came to us every 45 minutes or so and made mistakes on the orders and bills. We ended up walking up to the bar to place drinks order on multiple occasions. It felt it was our responsibility to make sure we had enough to drink.
She could have easily sold twice as much drinks if she visited more often. Didn't offer coffee and brought the bills before we were done. Also brought the cake without plates or cutlery. And then openly complained about the poor tip she got.
Since I was the one organizing the group for a birthday, I wanted to pay for everybody's 'show fee' but never had the chance to tell the staff. Bills came too quickly.
Not sure I'll visit again. Maybe in the bar section, seemed a more proper option.

I have been to this restaurant several times in the last few months. While the service is usually quite slow, the atmosphere usually makes up for it. Had booked it for Friday to celebrate my birthday and what a disappointment. We had the reservation for 7:30 PM and had our main dish served at 10:45 PM and that was 2 hours after we got our appetizer. The restaurant was almost empty by that time. Several guests of my party had to leave without getting a main dish. The waitress never really informed us of any delays. We had to chase after our waitress to ask for an update on our main course twice. The 20 minute wait we were informed about, turned out to be an hour. What’s even worse, a table near by got their food before us and were done by the time we got ours and their reservation was an hour later than ours. By the time we finished eating they were cleaning the tables. We asked to have the birthday cake brought and had to remind the waitress again after a 20 minute wait. Never got any followups or apologies other than when they brought the bills, blaming it on the slow service in the kitchen.

What’s worse, the table next to us ordered 20 minutes after we did and still got their food 30 minutes before us. For the price we paid, I definitely expected better. We had to ask the waiter about our order before getting any explanation otherwise, who knows how much longer we would’ve waited. The food smelled great but tasted just average, and honestly, it was disappointing. The restaurant wasn’t even busy when we arrived, so there’s no excuse for such a delay. Our waiter tried to make up for it afterwards, but by then it was too late. We left no tip. Do better.

We’ve visited this restaurant a few times and always enjoy the lively atmosphere and charming decor. The setting is perfect for a casual night out, and the live music definitely adds to the vibe. On this visit, however, the singer was a bit of a letdown compared to our previous experiences. We’ve had great performances in the past, but this one felt like the artist was still a novice, lacking the polish we were used to.
The food was decent—not bad, but not outstanding either. One thing that stood out as odd, especially in a bilingual country, was that there were no English menus available.
Overall, still a nice place to visit for the atmosphere, but we hope the music and menu options improve on our next visit.
