We’ve visited this restaurant a few times and always enjoy the lively atmosphere and charming decor. The setting is perfect for a casual night out, and the live music definitely adds to the vibe. On this visit, however, the singer was a bit of a letdown compared to our previous experiences. We’ve had great performances in the past, but this one felt like the artist was still a novice, lacking the polish we were used to.
The food was decent—not bad, but not outstanding either. One thing that stood out as odd, especially in a bilingual country, was that there were no English menus available.
Overall, still a nice place to visit for the atmosphere, but we hope the music and menu options improve on our next visit.

I used to go to the one in Montreal for my birthday for a few years. Since it is now closed, we are booking this one. The food is okay, the service is okay, but for the atmosphere I was terribly disappointed! It’s called the Maison du jazz, so when I went there for my birthday dinner I was expecting this kind of music… well no! It was a salsa night! I was so disappointed that I never went back. What is this serious??

Wow, what a beautiful place and the ratings are in my top 3 and what's more, when we returned home, the restaurant contacted us with an error on the invoice for our table, a gift certificate credit had not been applied ($212.00) THANK YOU for the honesty we will come back very soon

Very disappointed with my experience. Went on the friday night to listen to good jazz music but country was playing and once the jazz band was supposed to come in, they had technical issue that took them 1h to fix... Had hair in my dessert and definitely not worth it to pay 10$/pers to hear no one play. Service was extremely slow, i had to ask for the dessert card, the bill, the machine to pay and etc. Definitely not the kind of service you expect when you spend more than 100$/pers.

I love this place… took my family there last week, and they were all so happy and impressed… that place made look good ??
More like House of Noise...very loud, very difficult to appreciate the music. I expected jazz, and the singer was singing disco and pop rock. Loud, swearing, drunk patrons. Definitely not a place to relax. Several parties were going on; between sets the music was from YouTube and very poorly mixed with lots of repetition. If you like a loud, party-like atmosphere, you'll like it here! Not for me. If you prefer a relaxing evening of jazz where the patrons respect the musicians, go to Upstairs Jazz Bar & Grill.

The service was good and atmosphere was nice. That being said, it took 2 HOURS for us to get our food (and for the price we paid for the food, I expected better). It was good, NOT the most filling, but good. The second we finished, they ran to pick up our plates and glasses as if telling us to leave. When we went in, the place was NOT even busy to excuse the 2 hour waiting for our food. The music was BAD, they were NOT playing Jazz. Yes, the House of Jazz, was not playing Jazz. Instead, we spent an entrance fee to go in and hear them play music you would normally hear in a 1970 tv show. HORRIBLE !
