First time going to a restaurant with a live band that eventually turned into a food and dance evening. ?Five stars for everything; the atmosphere, the service, the voice of J-C Germain, the rib eye steak cooked to perfection and the dancefloor at the end of the evening.The first of many, I'm sure.

Saturday March 9, 2024 Well, I liked the atmosphere between Jazz and Blues. The singer of the first part makes the room lively and friendly and the second part with Michelle Sweeney wow! to the orchestra of breathtaking sax players, keyboard players, bass players, guitarists and drummers, excellent. All in a magnificent setting with all these chandeliers. As for the food, my ravioli was pretty good, the beef cheek too but the size was a little small for the men, buffalo hamburger meh! the whole thing lacks generosity and flavor... it's a bit expensive for the main dishes starting at $26 +++ you shouldn't go there for the food which is average quantity taste price I would say a 6 out of 10.. . but for the show it remains a good, inexpensive show $15

The food was not worth the price, but the service and atmosphere are great. I was a little surprised after spending $200 on food and alcohol, that there is a $15 cover charge. I understand for the people in the bar, but the diners not acceptable.

If you are in Laval looking a good time with friends, you can't go wrong with The House of Jazz.Venue:Beautifully decorated place with live entertainment, while eating a a delicious meal. It gives that New Orleans vibe.Service:Waiter was polite, very attentive and took the time to explain each dish in detail. Well done!Took a little long to receive the meals but the entertainment keeps you too busy to notice.Food:Our table had the waygu dumplings, the were very good crispy on the outside and tender inside. For the main course our table had; beef cheek (super yummy), the tuna (very good) and filet mignon (good).Cost:Overall prices were very reasonable. Starter run at about $15-$25. Main course, $25-$50. Keep in mind there is a $10 charge for 2nd floor seating or $15 for 1st floor seating charge per person for the entertainment which is totally worth it, band was awesome!Conclusion:So instead of going to a simple, ordinary restaurant outing...Jazz it up a little!Fully recommend The House of Jazz

Great place for a date night. The food is really good, the atmosphere is nice too and the service is excellent. We had the melting brie, the charcuterie board to share. I had the ribs with mashed potatoes instead of fries. He had the filet mignon with fries. All the food was really good. Our drinks were good too. The live band playing really adds to the whole experience (just letting you know they add a 15$ fee per person for the live band). I've been there a few times and I've always enjoyed my time there. I would recommend it for a romantic date night or even to celebrate your birthday with a small group of friends.
