Itamea Sushi (Dagenais-Laval)

Nice place for the family. I liked it. Food was good too.

I am not going to sugarcoat it. These were the worst sushis i have had in a very long time.

Rice was mushy(that alone says a lot)
Vegetables were roughly cut.
We took multiple platters to get variety. We had the same thing in each of the 3.
Almost no fish in the sushis.
Pre-made sushi-shop would have been much better.

The portions are generous, the prices are fair but they regularly cancel uber eats order over 1 hour before closing hours when they don’t need your business. Took 1 hour to select a large order for souper with friends just to have the restaurant cancel within minutes. We waisted time and it’s disrespectful.

Great sushi quality, big portions at reasonable prices. Always fresh and courteous owner! My take out staple for sushi! No wonder it takes 1hr and more to deliver, they are always busy for a reason! Love this place ❤️

Our first time in this restaurant. We were passing close by and we hadn't had supper. It was going to close but they were super nice and prepared our order for us. And it was really good! We had hosos, makis, futos and a tartare maki. Everything was fresh and really tasty. Better than average. Better prices than average too. We will return there when we are in Laval for sure!!

The sushi is excellent, with a wide variety of choices that will satisfy all tastes. Each piece is fresh and well prepared. The service is also there: fast, attentive and very pleasant. An address to recommend without hesitation!

I had heard good reviews but I was totally robbed. Very disappointing experience. The dragon eye was mush and tasted like the pond. The sushi was bad, everything fell out when you took it. No I don't recommend.

We have already ordered from this place with Über and enjoyed it. This time we order a 2/1 of dragon eyes because my son really likes it and a tray of 30 maki. First in the maki tray we put 10 other dragon eyes for a total of 30 dragon eyes out of 50 pieces. Secondly, the dragon eyes in question were made with overcooked rice and a ridiculous amount of carrots, the rest of the maki is just ok. Big disappointment in this order

Honestly it's easily one of the best sushi in the region! I always take a take-out order from this restaurant, and the time is always reasonable, ready as soon as I arrive, the sushi has flavor and it's not just rice
