I moved to Laval not so long ago and after trying most of the sushi restaurants in the area, this one quickly became the only address I return to regularly!
I have been ordering at Kavan Sushi for years. It’s a family business and they are so kind. The sushi is fresh and tasty. My family and I never get fed up or tired of the food, whenever we want our sushi fix we come here. If you want to support local restaurants, this is the place. Highly recommend!
Contrary to many of the positive reviews I’ve seen, my experience with the sushi was quite underwhelming. The freshness that you’d typically expect from quality sushi just wasn’t there.

Affordable price, fresh ingredients, generous portion prepared in front of you. No cheap salad to pretend the bowl is full, just rice and fresh ingredients. By far the best poke bowls. I travel from Dollars-des-Ormeaux for their extraordinary poke bowl. 1x we ordered a large sushi platter for a special occasion and everything was excellent and perfect.
