La Fringale De Fabreville

Discovered thanks to a friend who works in the area, nice discovery, even if there is no dining room (I went there a little late in the year, I would have preferred to eat in the warm, but it was not possible) still it is, despite everything, I really enjoyed it, it was good, affordable and I must give a special mention to the fries which are very good... they are rare in this category, I will definitely come back next season. THANKS!

This place was a vibe. Staff was super friendly. The food was top quality. Easily one of my favourite casse-croûte in montréal/laval. I got the chicken burger, hot dog and a poutine to share. Would definitely go back.

The service: The young lady behind the window, needs a bit of exposure and education to what is friendly happy service. She opens and slams her window like a truck driver stuck in traffic. She seems a bit impatient. People go to these places for a fun time. Her energy ruins it.

Food: I came here for a poutine fix. If you're Googling a place to get a good poutine fix this is not the one. It disappointed. There is no squeak in the curd cheese. It was soft, refrigerated and melty. The gravy had no taste, tasted like water. fries were just greasy and tasteless. Half went into the garbage.

We really liked it. Everything was delicious, especially the meat of my hamburger and the fries were fresh. The staff were welcoming and smiling. Recommended 100%

After a nice game of mini golf, we enjoyed an excellent meal. I loved my sub and the cheeseburger was very good!

We finally stopped at La Fringale in Fabreville which just opened this week. I had heard only good things about this establishment. It seems like these reviews must have come from people who put ketchup on their poutines lol.

$26 small poutine, cheese burger, a michigan and bevrage. Otherwise $7 for a small poutine

Fries - I love this size of fries, but very greasy and tasty (almost too much) 8.2

Sauce - a hybrid, mixture of brown, bbq and pepper. Good but when mixed with fries you lose it, no taste 7.3

Cheese - not melted, but no squick squick, not really tasty either. 5

Total 6.8, very disappointed

Canteen burger still solid for example a good 7.7 and Michigan mediocre 7.5

Still worth the detour for a good poutine (I give it 7.5/10) but too expensive for the quantity served. Hot dogs are also expensive. The fries (sweet) are very good.
