The service was a bit slow but we came during a busy night.
The menu is quite wide and everyone at our table manage to find something convenient for them

AMAZING TIME!! Christina was our amazing, warm and charming waitress, she definetly helped make this night GREAT! Mussels were to die for, the calamaris could have used more seasonning but very fresh and the homemade cannolis was the perfect last touch.
The ONLY thing is that there was alot of noise....
P.S. we came a couple years ago for a big 30-ish person group and service was far from this good, and the menu was very restricted, so not as great of an experience back then.

The ambiance was inviting and cozy, with great vegan cuisine. Although the dishes were flavorful, they could benefit from reduced oil content. Additionally, a broader selection of vegan desserts would be a welcome addition. We enjoyed the vegan veggie fusilli and veggie pizza. The small bread served was exceptionally delicious, and I wish they had offered more than one serving! :) I look forward to returning.

As a vegan it's hard to find restaurants that have vegan menus. Thank you for having plenty of vegan options. It was my first time eating there and I find your vegan foods delicious.

My mariniere ( white wine /garlic sauce) muscle were VERY bland. Tasted like dirty water.
They charge you extra if u change ur kind of pasta which I find ridiculous. Penne. Spaghetti or ravioli should all be the same price .
Our party of 5 was happy overall.

Ordered through uber eats and considering the price, I was very disappointed in my meal. $30 pasta should have rich flavourful sauce with fresh pasta.. This tasted flat and chewy. $30 for a small gluten free pizza was also pretty expensive. Many folks who are gluten free recommended this place to us for our visit.. Maybe the dine in experience is better, but I would never choose to eat here again. I was expecting authentic Italian like we have here in Halifax for that price.. What I got was expensive east side Mario's. 😱

I rarely write reviews, but this experience deserves attention. I went on a date hoping for a cozy evening, but instead spent the entire time swatting away flies—dozens of them. Some even landed on our food, which completely ruined the atmosphere and appetite.
I mentioned it to the waitress, who acknowledged the issue and said work was being done to address it. Unfortunately, nothing seems to have changed. The infestation is beyond a quick fix. Honestly, the place either needs to relocate or shut down temporarily to properly resolve the situation. It’s simply not up to Ottavio’s usual standards.
If you're a fan of Ottavio and still want to enjoy their food in a clean, comfortable setting, I strongly recommend visiting their Ville St-Laurent location instead. That one actually lives up to the brand’s reputation.
Would not recommend this location until serious action is taken.

The services was impeccable. Great job for hiring great ppl. From the moment we walked in, to our waitress, it was fantastic. My daughter is celiac and immediately they took care of her. Our waitress was very knowledgeable of what she can eat or not. The menu was great with a ton of options for her and she was very happy. The only issue, and i understand it’s a bring your own wine establishment, but the prices are ridiculous. $30 for a pizza is highway robbery. $25 for an entrée calamari ect…. 2 adults 2 kids under 12 $200+ is insane. We went to Cornelli’s had I drinks and a full bottle of wine and costed less. The food was good, but not enough for us to go back and spend that much. If you’re looking for great service and a overpriced menu, it’s recommended
