Shout out to George and his two sons Kosta and Kiro who were all working today, This family owned business has shaped my future for the better. Kind people with big hearts. Not to mention patate 2000 litterally won the 2025 award for best casse-croûte in Quebec! (See pictures for proof) 155/100 for excellence in service, food quality and freshness, cleanliness in the kitchen, in the dining area and even the bathrooms! I highly recommend the toasties as they are the first thing I tried! Can't wait to come back and try everything else on the menu!

Stopped in for a quick French fry and a couple of steamers.
Food. For a typical quebecois Greek run hamburger French fry and hot dog place this stands up with the best. Quality and portions are standard. Fries are fresh cut and properly fried twice for a perfectly cooked and fluffy center with a crispy exterior.
Interior. Blaze, dated and in need of a desperate update and refresh. It’s a very down atmosphere and preferred taking out and eating in the car. Exterior. Big issue as I drive into the lot, it looked completely closed. Checked the hours and it’s open as if 5:00 am and offers breakfast so I took a chance and walked in. Luckily my hunch was correct.
Service. Bilingual, friendly, and accommodating.

Ive had multiple items over time at Patate 2000 and they have never disappointed,One of the better steamies and Poutine in laval. But the smoke meat Poutine i just had was very good and derserved a photo. #nomnom

Very friendly and perfectly bilingual staff. Poutine is right up there with the best I've had in the city. Seriously. Sauce is great, you can tell the fries are freshly cut. Cheese was extremely generous throughout and not just a bit on top, lots of cheese in the middle and bottom too. Place was clean, a nice throwback in looks and value.
