Very friendly and perfectly bilingual staff. Poutine is right up there with the best I've had in the city. Seriously. Sauce is great, you can tell the fries are freshly cut. Cheese was extremely generous throughout and not just a bit on top, lots of cheese in the middle and bottom too. Place was clean, a nice throwback in looks and value.

A place that never fails, another happy visit to Patates 2000, a snack bar located south of the 440.
They have a very extensive menu, from morning until evening. We usually opt for poutine because the fries are very good here.
But for this visit, we chose the Philly cheese steak style sub. Really good meat, very good vinaigrette and generous cheese.
The snack bar hasn't been renovated since Terminator 2 and leaves a rundown impression, but that's what makes the place somewhat charming, it's like coming back to Blockbuster.
Owner and staff super friendly and in a good mood, very pleasant service.

We go to Patate 2000 whenever we have a taste for hot dogs, the team is so nice and welcoming, they recognize us every time we visit. The food is always hot and fresh, a guaranteed delight!
My only downside is their opening hours, since the pandemic, they close before dinner, so it is more difficult for us to be able to encourage them.
