One thing I learned after COVID was not to trust any labels on food. More and more products were introduced as organic, bio, no this, no that just so they could sell at exhorbitant prices. Between you and me, it's a lot of crock in many cases.I will definitely choose wild salmon over farmed one but it's not always available. Yet, some places sell it almost year round as Wild Pacific Salmon. Weird.This fish monger, Casablanca on Samson in Laval, is the only place I know (at least in Laval) that tells you the way it is. They are honest. Their fish and seafood is fresh and their prices are very reasonable. As a bonus, they are friendly and know their stuff. This is my GO TO place for fish and seafood.

Mom and Pop shop. Best place to get fresh fish. You may pay a bit more in price, but its well worth it. They clean it for you and even recommend how to cook it. The variety is much better than your major supermarket as well.
