Restaurant I Am Pho Laval

Really tasty broth! I could sip on this broth all day! The noodles were good and the meat was nice and tender. Service was immediate and friendly. As for the atmosphere, it's an average restaurant in a strip mall on a busy street. Clean and quiet, but nothing very outstanding.

I visited twice within one month with my family! we love to test out pho places and this is one of our top go tos now (especially because it is a midway point between our houses). There is parking, and the soups for pho And Bun bo hue are so so tasty, not too salty. There is a lot of meat, and the portions are quite big. I never finished my bunbohue, even though i got M (smallest size).

The staff are friendly and the place is clean and there are many seats and tables.

Definitely coming here again!

The service deserves zero stars, specifically for the hot tempered rude server in the afternoon of September 2.

The food was good when we tried it out on September 1st dinner I will give it that, however, you better not be reordering because they are lazy to bring you things a second time around apparently and will rudely tell you off. We had ordered a cold spring roll for myself(wasn’t feeling very hungry) and my husband ordered a dish for himself. I ate the spring roll and hubby ended up having some of mine so I decided to order another one. Then we ordered a dessert to share, it was a bean dessert and we weren’t sure if we would like it but we tried it and ended up liking it so we ordered another one. That was it.

Not once did they communicate that they’d prefer a one time order only, and nor was it busy that night. We were completely oblivious that it was an issue. If they told us nicely, we would have known. We tipped them over 15% for service for the dinner and came back the next day (Sept 2) for lunch.

This time around for lunch, there was a guy (not the same woman who served us the night before). We sat down and ordered two cold spring rolls and a Vietnamese coffee we wanted to try. Immediately the guy rudely tells us with his finger pointing at us saying “if you want anything, then order everything now! Not order one and then another!” My husband politely asked if there was a reason why, he thought that maybe the kitchen was closing. The guy again pointed his finger started rudely scolding us saying “yesterday you came, and ordered once and then ordering again and again!” At this point, he had annoyed me. I am a paying customer who was respectful, and I tipped you guys for the service.
Not once this was communicated reordering is an issue. We were respectful when ordering each time, and if anything, I have worked in the restaurant industry, that’s adding to the bill, increasing the amount to be tipped on. This would definitely not be how you’d expect anyone to react! It was completely uncalled for and extremely rude. Don’t run a business if you are lazy to walk that stretch in your own restaurant a second time.

Needless to say, we chose to leave. With an unreasonable temper like that, who’s to know he’s not spitting in our food or drinks.

The Tonkinese soup with rare beef is EXCELLENT!!! I tasted several places, but this one was excellent!!!
Delicious, filling for a long time, excellent against hangovers and even more pleasant in the fall/winter season!
The portions are good too!
I finished my bole so quickly that the broth was still boiling at the end!

Got takeout through Doordash. Best packaging we ever had from a pho restaurant. Thumbs up. The beef soup was delicious too!

Worse service ever with raw food.. never again. And told us to go to hospital if we get sick. I just want to sue them

When it opened it was good, the broth was tasty, the vegetables in the soup were blanched and the service was good. The last few times the chicken had a funny taste, the vegetables were raw and the service was not good at all. The waiter didn't give us any water, served us our soups and that's it.

Came with my family and ordered rice with chicken and when i ate the second chicken out of 3 i realized that the 2 last ones were still raw so when my mom told the cashier about it and ask what are they gonna do if i get sick, he just said “go to the hospital, what do you want me to do i gave you 15% off already”. This place had no service in general and after this experience, its definitely not worth coming back.
