I was on vacation and staying in Laval and decided that I want to try Hatian food. This was the closest to where I was staying so I decided to give it a try. I was so surprised how the food was so tasty! It took a while for my order to come out because it’s made to order. The griot was not dry and was so moist. I am looking forward to come back here on my next visit to Montreal.

This is my first order from this restaurant. The broth is exquisite. The portion is generous too. I recommend this restaurant to everyone.

It's a little hot but the food is provided in abundance, I would say an 8/10 on the taste

I tried the sos pwa legum white rice and the kole rice with griot and all the dishes were delicious. The griot is tender and fried to perfection. In all seriousness, rice is almost better than the one you make at home! Since the dishes are prepared freshly, the service is a little slow, so I recommend calling to place an order before going, it's definitely worth it, in addition to the ultra courteous service!

First time I went to this restaurant.
I had the chicken dish.
As a Haitian, I found that the food lacked taste, it was bland. It really disappointed me.
For example the rice, even with sauce there was no taste. I didn't eat it all.
The plantains were soft, and even then, the taste was bland.
The chicken was good except the skin was salty. But that's not a problem because you can remove the skin from the chicken.
The macaroni wasn't wow, it's just boiled macaroni.
I didn't taste the pikliz.
Overall, not the best Haitian restaurant I've tasted, but it's okay if you tolerate the bland taste.
There are a few tables where you can sit inside. It’s well ventilated, so you won’t smell the food when leaving the restaurant. It's clean inside.
I was well received, and before paying, they showed me the dish to validate my order.
On the other hand, the music was super loud, I could barely hear the cashier…

Parking: Parking located next to the restaurant.

I'm visiting a friend in Laval. We wanted Haitian cuisine and we stopped at this restaurant. We take the classic griot with sticky rice + extra pikliz. It was really good! The pork was both tender and crunchy. One of the best griots I have eaten. Very cool. The owner explained a little about his business and the cuisine to us. It was nice!

Dull atmosphere inside. Fortunately, some makeshift chairs are outside with a table. We were able to eat there and it was nice, but a little precarious.

The restaurant closes at 5 a.m. That is cool!

Positive experience.

Very Good service! Very good food especially at the time I ordered! Ordering at 3:20 in the morning I thought it was a joke because I wouldn't have had food at that time but yes they are there and they do it and the food is excellent and affordable! I will come back for sure!

I decided to order from this restaurant because the reviews were great and it had a lot of good comments. I ordered in advance and he told me it would be ready in 30 minutes and it arrived in 40 minutes more late and I had to wait 5 minutes at the door before he opened it! Then I came home and waited 5 more minutes inside it was extremely hot. The gentleman was friendly at least… When I saw the size of the little griot (9.99) was shocking for being small it was extremely small lol.. Arrived at home I looked at the dishes and this is what I saw I'll let you go and look at the photos of yourself and judge! Ps: there were 5 pieces of griot in the small dish, no joke, I can count it without difficulty! In short, a lot on it I won't be going back there unfortunately good luck to them anyway! I'll share my opinion with you so you don't be on it like I was this evening $45 lost :(

I have been reading all the good reviews. It is indeed one if not the most tender griot I have eaten in my entire life, except that the portion of meat was infinitely small. Lots of big cubes of fat and 4 tiny pieces of pork. On my $17.24 plate, I had almost just rice.
