The service was great as was the food. We have eaten there a few times before so noticed the meals were smaller portioned. I had chicken with mustard and honey sauce and my husband had « bavette de boeuf ». He said his meat was very tender and tasty. I live their fries. Our waitress was in training and done a very good job.

Enjoyed the food, service was pleasant but sporadic, even though the restaurant wasn't overly full. Ordered waters and a drink, a bit slow to get the drink, I started to wonder if I should cancel it so I wasn't drinking it with my meal - just didn't think that an old-fashioned would go with my meal. Shared the zucchini chips with tzatziki - ribbons of battered zucchini were very good as was the smear of a sweet sauce or relish on the side - would have asked for more sauce but never saw the server (he did spend a fair bit of time at a larger table within our line of sight). Mains were the braised beef ravioli with blue cheese sauce - a rich dish that is not overpowered by the blue cheese, it added to the depth of the flavour; nicely sized ravioli, not as warm as perhaps it should have. The general tao style chicken was a generous portion with a nice mixture of chicken with mango relish. I had to remind the server about the wine I had requested with my meal. At the end of the meal the server left us with the requested dessert menu and took the general tao to be boxed. We selected dessert but waited so long that by the time the server returned we just asked for our check. We never saw the leftover general tao and by the time we remembered we didn't want to return. We liked the food, and might try there again in hopes that the poor service (still gave the server 15%) was an aberration. Were sorry about the leftovers.

The appetizer was soup of the day and it was very warm and great. I ordered Zibo’s salmon tartar for the main dish, It wasn’t anything special, and tasted like spicy sushi to be honest. The aftertaste was nothing. It felt like it’s missing something to be honest. The fries that came with it were so salty that I couldn’t eat them. Perhaps a lemon based mayonnaise would have helped for the fries but the mayo they put on my dish was old.
