We are a Cuban couple and we had the pleasure of celebrating Valentine's Day at this wonderful restaurant yesterday, February 14th. The atmosphere was simply perfect! As soon as we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by an attentive and smiling team.
The food was delicious, full of flavor, and each dish was prepared with care. We savored every bite! But what really made this evening special was the festive atmosphere. A Cuban band played amazing songs, and we had the chance to dance and enjoy a magical moment.
Thank you to the entire team for this exceptional experience! We will come back with great pleasure.

We visited the Brasse Rires restaurant-bar for a Christmas party with my colleagues, and the experience was mixed to say the least. Here is my detailed review:
Positive points:
The atmosphere is undoubtedly the strong point of Brasse Rires. The Latino group that hosted the evening created a festive and lively energy. If you are looking for a place to dance and enjoy a lively evening, this is a good choice.
The prices of drinks were normal, nothing shocking at that level. On the other hand, the quality of the cocktails and other drinks did not match the prices asked.
Negative points:
Unfortunately, the culinary aspect and certain practices largely tarnished the experience, particularly in the context of the $55 group meal plan.
Starters: A generous portion of pasta, certainly, but it was clearly from industrial products. The canned sauce was bland, severely lacking in seasoning, and reminiscent of a cafeteria meal. The Caesar salad was no better: lots of mayonnaise, a few low-end industrial croutons, and almost no bacon on my plate. No garlic and even less capers...
Main course: My fish and chips were unfortunately overcooked, with a tough and dry texture. After discussion with the waitress, I learned that it was frozen fish, which is disappointing for a menu at this price. The portion was good and the fries respectable.
Dessert: Small portions of frozen products, without much interest, accompanied by coffee.
Value for money: At $55, this formula is not at all competitive, especially compared to other establishments offering festive menus. The overall quality is way too low for the asking price.
Water policy: It is illegal in Quebec to charge for water when you have at least one drink, but here, only $3 bottles of water were offered. After spending more than $100 in this establishment, seeing a simple glass of water refused seemed to me to be a profound lack of respect towards the customers.
Service: The service was decent and friendly, but that's not enough to make up for the major shortcomings in the dining experience and pricing policy.
In conclusion, I do not recommend Brasse Rires for a dinner, especially not as part of a special event or a group meal. If you go there, do it purely for the atmosphere and the drinks, but expect disappointing value for money and practices that leave something to be desired.

Ishhh. They charged me for 3 bottles of water, which is illegal in Qc. Overcooked fish and chips, and in the end, wrong billing! We go there to dance, not to eat!

It was a first visit with a group! Wow! What service! Very impressed by the cooking of my perfectly cooked "blue" steak, very tasty and tender. My non-alcoholic mojito was delicious. My only downside, $3 for a small bottle of water, when tap water is free, it's almost insulting. And the opinions were unanimous. It takes away the taste of having another cocktail. And the worst part is that the waitress didn't say it was $3... Latin band and DJ were very lively!

Very good restaurant, the Brasse-Rire burger was good, but I didn't really like the chiabatta bread... The ribeye had a lot of fat.
Good service and nice atmosphere.
