Sushi Taxi - Station Laval

Hands down the best sushi spot out there! 🍣🔥 Every bite is super fresh and melts in your mouth. The presentation is stunning, the flavors are perfectly balanced, and you can tell the chefs put real artistry into each roll. If you’re a sushi lover, this place is a dream!

The French girl at the reception was really nice and polite, super helpful since it was our first time eating there, my girlfriend and I. We ordered:
- 3 sets of 5 sushi choices (not even the premium options)
- 1 calamari appetizer
- 2 drinks
Total came to $97.
I was a bit surprised by the price, but after checking the menu, I noticed they had some creative selections. The place looked nice (even though we ordered takeout), so I figured, “Alright, it’s pricey, but it might be worth it.” I don’t mind paying more for good food.
Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case.

The calamari came in small, thin pieces—definitely not enough for two people, especially at around $15. And the sushi? Just not to our taste. The combos didn’t work, the texture was dry, and a few pieces fell apart the moment we picked them up. Very underwhelming.

I’m not a sushi expert, and neither is my girlfriend—she’s Taiwanese and has had her fair share, like I have—but we both agreed this one missed the mark.
But hey, to each their own.

What a gem! I was about to step into the big chain which closed in half an hour. I make it a policy not to eat at restaurants that close within the hour. I walked over to sushi taxi and the decor was so cute! Very warm and inviting. I ordered to go and sat on a plush red couch. How comfortable! My order was ready and it came in the most unique environmentally friendly packaging. The quality of ingredients stood out the most, the flavour was lovely. This place is now my sushi spot!

We ordered sushi for the family. Our first experience with sushi taxi. The service at Sushi Taxi Laval is definitely second to none. The employees are very helpful in our choices, and above all the service is excellent. You should try the family box, a real treat ? The children were more than happy. We will definitely try the dining room soon. I highly recommend Sushi Taxi Laval.

Sushi Taxi is by far my favorite place for sushi. Usually, I go to Mascouche, there I tried the one in Laval near work (Friday). I don't know if it's always like this or I was wrong but my tuna Pokébowl was really not at the expected level. Very little elaborate, certainly, but the very poor quality tuna really disappointed me. Paying this price and having to throw away half the tuna is unacceptable in my opinion.

Very calm
Food is great. We tried several signature dishes and were pleasently surprised.
The atmosphere was very intimate.
I would definitely recommend.. and that is coming from a difficult to please palate
We had a bottle of wine and the experience was nice and $ was reasonable

As a French person I was surprised by the very slow service 1 hour to be served even though there were only 4 tables in total occupied
The sushi is good but does not fly very high in terms of flavor when we could offer simple less fatty dishes. The restaurant is still good with unusual sushi, good rice, a good avocado, little surprise on the table. salmon but still satisfied with the sushi.

Worst sushi experience u can ever ask for.. old sushi + wife intoxicated after this... tried to reach management to explain the situation no one ever answered, i can send proof of emails sent its been a month i am trying to reach someone.. this is not how u treat customers.. never again! This restaurant is not gonna last. Mark my words

Found this place because I needed a quick option for food and sushi shop was closed. It was a great find! While the prices are a bit steep, you will definitely notice it in the quality of the food. For conviene we ordered 2 chef combos to go, and they were ready immediately. I could tell it was fresh, made daily. The combos had a good variety of options. Of note, the cashier told us they have 25% off for the makifolie during the summer (2024). So, that was a nice suprise to us. One box easily fed my mom and I (we might have smaller appetites but it was perfect for take out). Will be coming back! (Sorry for the presentation of the food in the pics, we were hungry)

I have often ordered from the Montreal and Quebec branches, and my experience has always been very good. This time it was really horrible. The order took 3 hours to arrive even though it was only an order for one person! The squid, which I had already tasted elsewhere and are generally very good, was cold and hard, it was almost impossible to bite into it, let alone chew. In addition, there were almost half as many as elsewhere. The sushi was soft and stuck to the bottom of the box, so much so that it opened before we even tried to eat it. I really don't recommend.

Nice welcome and good recommendation from the waitress. Expect to pay the price though. On a Wednesday evening it’s super quiet and fast service
