Susie Sans Gluten

One of my favorite gluten safe bakeries to visit. I always visit here, leaving with more than I came in for.

The place is super clean, organized and there is a very big variety.
The frozen mini carrot cupcakes were delicious!

I wanted to try their fresh pastries: I got 2 canolies and 2 strawberry sheescakes.
The strawberry cheesecake was too sweet for my liking: with a very thick layer of strawberry jam? For 11$ I expected better.

The canolis cream was a bit disappointing, it was not sweet enough. I got one chocolate ship and pistachio, and one nutella. None of them were tasty enough. 7$

I was happy to spend 7-11$ for one piece of pastry, until I tasted the pastries. I was expecting something tastier and delicious.

It's okay, but everything is too sweet for me. To much sugar.

Went in to get tomato pizza for an event, left with much more. The cookies are amazing super tender and so many flavours to choose! 100% would make the 45 min drive again.

I would have given 5 stars but the website is exclusively in English without the possibility of putting it in French like the majority of sites. To be honest I'm completely bilingual, but I like to shop on a site that allows me to choose my primary language.

unfresh pastries poutine was absolutly not good way too much sauce owner doen’t take critics and doesn’t give solutions not going back there look at the comments where customers were unhappy her reply is way off simply don’t trust the food she sells

To answer your reply: I actually agree with you and I won’t be coming back…. I tell myself that most of time when I come to your store and things are sometimes unfresh. The way you answer says a lot about you it doesn’t align with my values… and that is the second reason why I won’t be coming back. Like you said there’s other gluten free stores like Le Marquis and gluten free products are now more and more available in different stores at a more honest price. Instead of waisting your energy in giving undiplomatic answers use that same energy to improve… if you can’t take some critics it’s on you that doesn’t mean people have to hold themselves from speaking the truth. Not once have you give a professional answer when someone gives a critic about something they’ve dislike. It is not about hurting your company but more about improving and if you would’ve have a better approach the review won’t be here in the first place. As I haven’t post a bad one every time the food or service was bad but at one point you have to be open when a customer simply informs you that the product isn’t as fresh as it is suppose to be. Your staff change a lot and that also says a lot.

Have one of the best fresh gluten-free bread I have ever tried. Unfortunately, they don't have it daily.

The perfect place for gluten-free bakery and pastries. Price a little high but ok.
Very good service. Located in Laval, near 440, it's practical. Very good homemade bread, muffins too. Homemade baguette bread, a little big but very good.

Being celiac, the store is 100% gluten-free, really and that’s great! The only thing that is disappointing is that the products sold are really expensive. I can find certain products less expensive in the grocery store than at Susie SG. This is literally the only negative. I recommend it all the same!
