The Keg Steakhouse + Bar - Laval

Had dinner here to cry out anniversary and my Birthday. They sent us two glasses of wine and a lovely dessert .

comme d'habitude nous sommes ravis de notre soirée chez The Keg Steakhouse & Bar - Laval La noiurriture est super bonne et bien présentée. Sortie à refaire.

I'm not a big fan of their burgers but they know how to make an awesome Stake.

Comme toujours, nourriture excellente et service impeccable, la jeune fille qui nous servait était tellement gentille et avenante. C'est toujours un plaisir de manger à votre restaurant. Le seul hic c'est le niveau de bruit, mon beau-père est malentendant et porte des appareils et à chaque fois ils n'entends pas quand on lui parle car le niveau de bruit interfère avec son appareil. Notre jeune serveuse était tellement cute, après avoir réalisé le problème, elle s'approchait tout près de lui si elle avait à lui parler afin qu'il puisse la comprendre. Ce qu'il semble avoir grandement apprécié car il a été très généreux sur le pourboire lol

Le service était plus qu'extraordinaire! Les steaks très bon, la variante « lobster » un peu moins impressionnante.

Les frites étaient dures et froides. Le steak était beaucoup moins tendre que d'habitude. Le service était moyen. On nous servait juste pour nous servir.

Nico, our waiter, was amazing. The food was incredible and it was a fun Friday night ambiance. Great meal with family.

Very disappoint …love the Keg..We received 1soft drink not 2 we ordered, no ice flat, water no ice and it was warm…had to ask for 2nd soft drink…We ordered steak, lobster and shrimp…our meal came first, the butter came later, we thought he forgot…then the butter was plain in candle lit dish…apparently is doesn’t come with garlic butter anymore…what???…I have never seen or heard shrimp or, specially lobster served with no garlic butter..the Keg in old Montreal served it with garlic butter…cheaper restaurants serve garlic butter… thats like serving a hotdog without the bun…and this is an expensive restaurant..so, yes, they should have garlic butter served with the lobster. Then our server kept forgetting us. We had to wave for his attention…not because there was many tables…he was talking with one table for over 20mins…I had to ask another server who was shutting down a section to help us…
Very, very disappointing …we are good tippers our bill was over 200$...But our tip reflected the service!!!!

Nous étions un groupe de 7. Nous avons eu une très belle place plus intime pour prendre notre repas. C'était vraiment bien. Tous le monde a été satisfait de leurs repas. C'était vraiment bon. La seule chose est que j'avais mentionné lors de la réservation que ma fille fêtait ses 25 ans. J'ai vu beaucoup de serveurs apporter des petits morceaux de gâteaux à d'autres personnes mais ma fille n'a rien eu. J'ai été un peu déçue de ce côté là. Mais pour le reste, tout était parfait !

Je vais au Keg plusieurs fois dans l'année, mais cette fois-ci mon expérience a été très décevante.... Un service ordinaire. Nous avons reçu nos drink après les entrées et les repas principaux alors que nous n'avions même pas terminé nos entrées. Nous nous sommes sentis bousculés. Nous aurions pris d'autres verres, mais on sentait que nous devions manger rapidement et partir.

We were seated in the bar area. It has agreat atmosphere. Our waiter was Patrice, he was effecient, knowlegeble of the menu and very solicitis of our needs. We orderes our usual 7oz fillet mignon. I took it with the twice baked potato. My dad asked for mashed potatoes and pepper sauce. The cooking was to our taste. The meat melted in your nouth it was so tender. For dessert we ordered their famous Billy Minor pie with coffee. It was delicious. If you want to enjoy a delicious meal with excellent service, I highly recomend the Keg Laval.

Belle découverte, pas tendance à aller dans des restaurants de chaîne pour manger un steak, mais nous avons adoré. La viande était excellente et bien cuite. On vas retourner

We ordered two salads with protein on the sides. The chicken was overcooked and unfortunately not edible. The sirloin was overcooked but still tender enough to eat though a bit on the colder side. In hindsight, I think they were sitting waiting for the server a bit too long. While the service was good, the waiter did not come back to check in a timely manner so we could not get a replacement salad for the chicken. It was not charged to us. I asked for the wedge without tomatoes but did find a few on my salad. All in all a mediocre Keg experience, as compared to the exceptional quality we have come to know and expect.
