Very good food and excellent service. Everything was so fresh and delicious.
This is definitely a place we’ll be coming back to, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for excellent food and exceptional service.
We chose a hotel near the Trans Canada Hwy for convenience on our x-country road trip and then we totally lucked out when we mapped Matto for our dinner. It was a couple of blocks from our hotel and it was pure joy.
The hostess was friendly, our server was an absolute sweetheart and then the drinks and meals were so delicious and not over-priced. So rich and flavourful - possibly the tastiest lasagna I have ever eaten.

Matto Lévis offers exceptional service with a team of attentive staff who ensure a fast and responsive dining experience. The restaurant serves excellent meals, including the delicious Pappardelle with mushrooms and a homemade Parmesan Fondue, and has a great wine selection. There are quite a few vegetarian options available, such as eggplant parmigiana and mushroom pasta, making it a great place for vegetarians to enjoy. With ample and free parking nearby, and easy wheelchair accessibility, Matto Lévis provides a joyful dining experience on the south shore. While it may not feel entirely authentic Italian to some, the food is very good, and the comfortable seating adds to the quaint atmosphere. The attentive waitstaff ensures everything meets the guests' standards, making it a restaurant worth visiting again.
