We had high expectations coming into this restaurant. The soup and appetizers of meatballs and calamari were good. We ordered a seafood papardalle but there seemed to be no taste in the seafood or the sauce. It was expensive and I lost my appetite after that. The other linguini dish with pancetta sauce was better. The server didn't come often to check on us and we had to wait quite awhile until he came to fill out empty glass. We hosted our engagement party at Bistro Certo this past weekend and had the most incredible experience from start to finish. The service was truly exceptional—the staff were friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly.

It’s great to have an Italian restaurant in the neighborhood. The staff were friendly and the food was pretty good overall. The mussels, in particular, were excellent. That said, the service was a bit slow, so it’s best to come when you’re not in a rush. Also, note that it’s BYOB. It’s not the most amazing Italian food I’ve ever had, but if you live nearby, it’s definitely worth checking out.
