Great service. The restaurant was accommodating and facilitated the navigation throughout the facilities with my grandmother who has limited mobility. The staff was kind, helped us with her walker and gave us a table with a lot of space to ensure her security. They really helped us make her birthday into a special occasion.
Our waitress and hostess were both so nice! I rarely make bad reviews, and maybe we were there on a bad night...but our food was simply...not good? Undercooked calamari, cold burger (which the waitress was quick to fix for me), mushy 'crispy' chicken burger -- just strangely off-tasting food, lacking flavour/freshness. I'm not sure I'll come back, but again, maybe just a bad night or something wrong with the fryer. I hate writing bad reviews, but it had to...
I have to say that I was disappointed with my meal. I chose the L'Gros Luxe hamburger. It's not the burger as such, but rather the bbq sauce, which I would have liked to have been homemade. It looked like a supermarket BBQ sauce to me. The pulled pork bowl looked better. But the pork also lacked flavor. And as a starter, the fried pickles were excellent. Good atmosphere, beautiful decor.
