I would like to report a very disappointing experience I had at your store. I had to spend nearly ten minutes arguing with the cashier in order to receive a refund or an exchange for a coffee that was clearly undrinkable. At first, I only expected a simple acknowledgment, but the cashier’s response was both unhelpful and rude.

The cashier, a bald man with a French accent, insisted that the only solution was for me to purchase another coffee, which came across as dismissive and unprofessional. It seemed as though he did not realize how unreasonable he sounded. Fortunately, a female staff member eventually intervened and kindly prepared a new coffee, which resolved the issue.

While I appreciate the assistance provided by the lady, I believe such poor customer service from the cashier should be addressed. Because of this experience, you have now lost two regular customers.

Sincerely,

Their lemon pie/tarte is to die for! The balance of acidity and sweetness is perfect. Honestly, their pastries are some of the best on the south shore. The staff are super friendly, the vibe is cozy, and there’s plenty of parking!

If it were possible, I would have given 0. The girl at the counter served us like she hated her job. Rude and unpleasant. Worst service. No hygiene effort at all—the straw was placed directly on the counter where people put their money, and no napkin was given with the small cake (she told us, stupidly, that there are napkins in the back). $17 for 2 drinks and a cookie. It’s cheaper in downtown Montreal. Strongly not recommended.

Amazing muffins, chocolate, atmosphere and coffee - I come here occasionally when I see one of my clients in the area - I always come early so I have an excuse to buy treats and catch up on emails :)

Quaint and friendly coffee, pastry, and chocolate shop. Their super friendly service and high quality products sets them apart. The vibe and atmosphere are great. A little expensive but you get what you pay for.

Cozy snuggly cafe with excellent hot chocolate, mocha and chai. Not too sweet, just perfect than the American equivalent. I highly recommend this cafe.

Their scones and cookies are also mildly sweet just the way I like it.

The baguettes are very dense inside, the crumb would be more airy which would be great.

Small cafe with a few tables to sit at. Several pastries, ice cream, sandwiches and artisanal chocolates are available on site. Ideal stop before going for a walk in Michel Chartrand Park or Adoncour Park.

Definitely the best almond chocolatine ever, and I'm picky. It's the perfect balance between soft, crunchy and chocolate.

I love this place, but this morning I had to wait almost 10 minutes in front of the counter to see the two young girls who didn't seem too concerned about seeing people waiting.

I finally broke down and kindly asked them what I wanted to order.
The only thing she had to say to me was: You see I'm busy...

At this point, I headed towards the exit door and if I ever come back next time and it's always the same story, it might be the last time.

First of all; In sales, you must learn not to keep your customers waiting.
Plus I come from far away every time and there are many other cafes I can go to; but I'm taking my time to come to you.
Also, customers have limited time and they have to go back to work, so please don't make them wait too long.

Beautiful warm place, I like to come here for coffee with my children (they enjoy biscuits!). I discovered raspberry lemonade this summer...delicious!
