I ordered the Riz Collé Mix Riz DjonDjon avec Poulet au Charbon from Taptap Express and wow — absolutely delicious! The charcoal-grilled chicken was perfectly seasoned and juicy, and the mix of riz collé and djon djon rice was rich, flavorful, and authentic. You can tell the ingredients are fresh and made with love. This dish was the star of my day — I’ll definitely be ordering again!
Good portions however I paid extra for the Djondjon Rice and I got normal rice. They also forgot the Pikliz & the turkey dish was very dry.
TapTap offers amazing Haitian food with delicious griot and flavorful djondjon and riz collé. The portions are huge and prices are good. The food is made fresh daily, making it one of the best restaurants. The staff is respectful and accommodating, although service might be slow during busy times. Free street parking is available, but be cautious of traffic.
