Les Enfants Terribles — Magog

Where do I even begin? We went to the rooftop for a birthday dinner. We made a reservation and showed up with several tables available near the water but the hostess insisted that those table were reserved for other parties and gave us a table closest to the entrance. Not long after, we overheard a group show up and state that they had no reservation and guess where the hostess sat them! At the table facing the water that was supposedly reserved. The hostess was a red head ish girl. Miserable one.

It took 1h30 minutes to get our appetizers: which was one sharing platter (8 oysters; two tartars, six shrimps and tuna tataki). No plates were given. It took 30 minutes for a Negroni and Aperol spritz’s to be made.

The food was atrocious. My stomach is not okay as I’m writing this lol

They did not clear our table the entire time. We had to push our dishes to the end of the table.

Overall; $100+ PP, you are better off anywhere else but here UNLESS you just want to enjoy the view with a few drinks. But then again, a Negroni is the easiest cocktail to make and they couldn’t even get that right

I’ll add though, our waitress was a doll and honestly it was as if she had 0 support

Thanks to the whole team for the great culinary experience and a special mention for the yuzu vinaigrette in the salad of the day! The braised beef was succulent as well as the tuna tataki poke bowl.

Very disappointed with my visit. Flies circled around us throughout our meal and we were inside.
Fried Chicken Burger = a bite of chicken and a lot of frying without the chicken. I won't go back again.

Our group of 6 had a lovely time here. We all had different items from the menu and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. The house cocktail (Ter ribe) was devine.
