So lovely. Almond croissant was light and had delicate almond flavor. Breads will be carried home but aroma and appearance are very promising! Cappuccinos were very good; black tea was served hot and was very good too. Very worth the hours drive for us. Update; the sourdough bread was mouthwateringly delicious!!
Try everything! We had such a wonderful time in this charming bakery, which has a lovely porch for sitting outside (and is also across the street from the town park, perfect for a picnic). We especially loved the apple tart, chocolate tart and fresh vanilla ice cream…delicious!! They also have savory items that we are eager to try.
Can the world's best bakery be in a tiny Quebec town on the USA/Canada border? Well I think it just might be. From the croissants to the pain au chocolate, the breads to the baguettes, Owl's Bread in Mansonville Quebec is the best bakery we've even been to.
