This is a wonderful country pub. We went there for dinner and were not disappointed. The staff are adorable. They have a very nice collection of cocktails and, a small, but very thoughtful wine list. The best was the food. Wow, just wow! The attention to details, the flavours and the perfect cooking all show the skills of an excellent chef! I am certainly warmly recommending.
The Chef came out to greet us personally, and assured me (non dairy diet) of cooking my dish to my dietary requirements! A beautiful fish, confit tomatoes, wild rice, and pesto! With olive oil and lemon sauce. Lamb was equally wonderful! Poutine and pizza great options for family friendly food. A must try if passing through! Relaxed setting with excellent service.
Great place - in addition to the burgers etc, they have a very nice bistro menu. Lovely ambiance & service, and they had a great live show when we were there - apparently have that on thursdays.
