Restaurant Place Mont-Laurier Pizzeria

J’ai mangé ici une fois avec ma femme, ma fille et mon gendre. Nous avons bien mangé. Nous étions tous heureux. Aujourd’hui, ma fille a ramassé deux entrées de calamar frit. Beaucoup trop salé. Personne ne pouvait les manger. Ils allaient à la poubelle.

I went to this restaurant because the manager at my hotel recommended it as a good option, but I have to say it was far from a good choice!

I ordered from the daily menu, which included a pizza served with either soup or salad (I chose the soup), and dessert: a cake with coffee.

The soup was extremely bland, and I had to add salt and pepper just to give it some flavor. The pizza was awful٫ completely tasteless, topped with what seemed like store-bought barbecue sauce, and served on what was clearly pre-made pita-style bread. The cheese was terrible, and even though I love pizza, I couldn’t bring myself to finish it.

I asked to see the menu again so I could order a salad instead, but the waiter told me I could only have either the soup or salad with the daily menu٫ even though I was trying to order a new item separately!!! I found their attitude quite dismissive, especially since they didn’t take the time to understand what I was asking.

When the salad finally came, it was served with a generic, industrial-style dressing that tasted nothing like a fresh or homemade one.

The cake was okay: not great, not terrible. But the coffee was downright awful٫ more like colored water than actual coffee.

Small disappointment given our expectations which were probably too high. We did a take-out so is this the cause? We ordered a Greek plate and phew, I would have been embarrassed to serve that to my family. The plate was pitiful (you eat with your eyes first). The pork was very good, well cooked. The salad, old and faded.

The pizza was good, but nothing more.

Despite the negative reviews regarding delivery, I decided to take a chance and order a poutine. To my surprise, I discovered a piece of salad in my poutine, which seemed quite disgusting to me. However, taste wise, the poutine itself was pretty good. The fries, although a little soggy, weren't that bad.

The cheese, for its part, was of good quality. I appreciated the large pieces and ample quantity that came with the dish. Another surprise was the BBQ sauce, which brought a different touch to the whole thing.

Regarding delivery, it was fast, which is a positive point to highlight. In summary, despite a few disappointing elements, I ate it, but with hesitation for fear of having other surprises.

A delivery of X Large pizza $60 arrived cold and the comment from one of the owners, it's normal you are in Saint Jean sur le lac (6.kL)

So why don't you have stoves???? Or do not deliver under these conditions.

Be careful, there are many excellent new pizzerias in Mont-Laurier. Don't take anything for granted ?

Greek salad and its sauce with the Greek dish is not good. The sauce doesn't suit the salad at all.

There was something weird in my spaghetti pizza that looked like raw chicken or raw fish and I'm pregnant I was scared so I called there and they mentioned that it was something we put to thicken the sauce in any case, I just threw the pizza away and I'm never going to order the

I've ordered from this restaurant twice now and each time you come to pay and give 13% which corresponds to 15% BEFORE TAXES and the delivery man stupidly replies that he doesn't know how to do it so he tells you oblige you to leave a full tip! Really more of what this restaurant was.

Pizza : la pâte bof, assez moyenne, quant à la garniture...peut pas dire, il n'y avait quasiment rien, juste beaucoup de fromage pour cacher cette misère. C'est sûr que les ingrédients ça coute plus cher que de la pâte et du fromage, mais quand on commande une pizza fruit de mer, on s'attend à avoir un peu plus que 2 ou 3 crevettes perdues au milieu de nulle part.
