One of my favorite cafes or breakfast places. They serve the best croissants in Montreal. My favorite is their almond croissant. Prices are average for a cafe in that range. Though this place could use more staff and a bit of renovations but still is a great place for a quick croissant and coffee.
I've been coming here for about 15 years and it's been pretty consistent up until recently. Now you get 1/3 or even a quarter of the fruit you would normally get with your breakfast plate (1 inch slice of cantaloupe and honeydew, thin slice of orange and a grape sized wedge of pineapple. Also waited quite some time to get my food as well, even when it was half empty. The food is good quality (for breakfast), but you can tell they're starting to cut corners. The cakes in particular are spectacular and delicious. Really worth the price. Also, the meat and salmon pies are inexpensive considering their good quality and a perfect solution for a quick dinner .
