Nice spot to get my morning tea - barista added the honey, milk, creamers, etc. at the bar. A range of sandwiches ($8), pastries, and fruit available. Tables and high top counter seating. Staff is friendly.

Sorry but couldn’t find the airport one on the site. Having said that.. it is by gate 1 across from Tims. Ended up there due to line up at Tims and glad we did. Good hot food and coffee. The staff was amazingly outgoing and friendly.

Under very recent, new ownership. Let's see if they can keep up the great vibe and, most importantly, the fresh food

This Java U is located right on the outskirts of Old Montreal close to downtown. Java U is located directly across from the Westin Hotel where we were staying. We stopped here for coffee while walking around this area. My wife ordered the banana nut muffin and I had the blueberry muffin that we split. Both were very good. The coffee was smooth and had a good taste. This coffee shop has lots of tables and space. There are very few power outlets which limit where you can sit and work with your laptop. Java U is a chain in Montreal and the Middle-East.

This is a popular cafe, well-located by a subway entrance. Prices are competitive and coffee quality is good. It's even a favorite place to hold a business meeting with one of the people I work with!

My family and I were on March break visiting montreal and this place happened to be in walking distance of our hotel. It was actually very pleasant, good quality drinks (I didn't try any food or pastries) but options were a nice change from the typical coffee chains. Staff was friendly and free WiFi is a plus. I can see why this is a hotspot for McGill students in the area.

I cannot seem to find the exact one I went to (PE Trudeau airport) but their sandwiches are desserts are incredible! I was in a hurry and need to grab a quick bite and I am glad I chose java u. I had a chicken sandwich and a chocolate bonbon and I wish I could go back for another. Next time I am in Montreal, I will be stopping by. The shop itself was adorable and I loved the display, if that matters.

Good quality coffee and food make this a much better place to have lunch than the usual chains. It is really refreshing to see this level of freshness and quality. Good staff and location. Really recommend it for a visit.

Just had an afternoon coffee and a delicious vanilla/strawberry ice cream while enjoying free wifi at Java U. Very friendly cafe centrally located for everyone, including students who live all around this area. Will definitely return - good prices too!

I tried the Maple Coffee at Java U. It was just warm (not hot enough). The coffee shop itself was nicely decorated with comfy seats and magazines.

Great place for a coffee in Montreal and always consistently great! Last time I was there, their ice machine was broken and it was very hot. They went and grabbed ice because my daughter wanted a "jice", a specialty.

Hope is not lost. Once finally get through airport security you can eat. I will not eat at Tim Horton’s ever. Java U is a pretty good alternative. They have a trio sandwich, soda & a side. I am partial to the mushroom and spinach wrap. It seems to always have seating, I find the food fresh and the espresso is not bad. Let’s face it when your flight is delayed and it seems half the time they are, it is easier to face without low blood sugar.
