AXE Lounge Bar

My husband and I visited Axe at the Fairmont Tremblant on the weekend and had a wonderful time.

We make a point of visiting the bars/lounges at Fairmont properties because the hospitality is exceptional. Caroline and Benoit of the Fairmont Tremblant exceeded our expectations.

We enjoyed a number of spirits that were new to us and learned about gin production in Quebec. The duo represents the property and their profession very well. It's always a pleasure to spend time with people who elevate a night out into something truly special.

Food is okay: I ordered a poutine and salmon tartare.
Good variety of wine and barman is helpful with any drinks.
View is nice as you can see the skiers if sitting close to the window while inside in the warm and cozy ambiance!

First Fairmont bar to receive 1 star from me..
First Fairmont bar ever to not meet expectations.. we ordered 2 cocktails and bar nuts.. cocktails were sports bar standard and hospitality was non existent..
Worst part was the bar nuts ..they were stale as of left open for long time...not just that there were pieces of plastic in the bowl which can be seen in the picture..
We showed that to server and sent the nuts back...we got the check and nuts were not removed...sever got the new new nuts after all the check payment and the time we were about to leave..
This might seem like a small issue but this is definitely not Fairmont standard..

Wow so much respect for the manager. Every time she saw us she would make it a point to check up on us. Her suggestion to eat at Vieux Four as we were looking for Italian was the icing on the cake to finish off our night.

Great cocktails, with small snacks. Be careful of peanut allergies though. Nice view from the lounge, slight clssh with the hotel lobby behind, atmosphere and decor level but tolerable.

I absolutely love coming to this lounge. It’s cozy, has varied spots to sit (bar seats, high tables, by the fireplace, couch seating). We literally moved 3 times last night for the fun of it to experience each part of the restaurant. The service provided by Zack is outstanding. He’s polite, attentive and kind. What a gem of a server. He’s a rare kind. Can’t wait to come back.

Beautiful, comfortable and cozy with a fireplace fairmont hotel lobby bar. Excellent service by staff and good selection of wine.

Excellent drinks and service!

We were at the Ax of the Fairmont Tremblant and we were warmly welcomed by the mixologist with whom we exchanged great discussions. This made us one of the best homemade cocktails with basil ? yes yes! It was exquisite!Then, chef Edgar, prepared a wonderful dish for us with great attention and even came to meet us at the table.Thanks to you Edgar and your colleague (French mixologist whose name we forgot)! It was a wonderful evening.

While the service and drinks were excellent, it's hard to believe this bar closed before midnight on a very hopping Saturday night.. For that reason, no 5 star

Skip the mixed drinks, they do not know how to make them, not one mixed drink came out right, tasted like watered down juice. Waiter service is extremely slow.
