L'air climatisé fonctionnait pas assez pour rendre la salle à manger agréable au confort des clients.Aussi les serveurs manquaient un peu d'entrain , d'enthousiasme.Un service loin de la qualité de la nourriture excellente

Ignored by wait staff, very long wait for menus, did not get offered water, asked what ingredients were in the dumplings, waited 20 minutes to get told two different list of ingredients by different waiters. Specifically asked for no mayonnaise in sushi, of course there was mayonnaise in the sushi we were given. Poor experience overall, would not recommend.

When we got there, it took 40 minutes for our order to be taken despite the waitresses passing by our table a number of times. It took 55 minutes for them to deliver a cup of tea. We finally received our appetizers (for a party of 3 people) 1 hour and 20 minutes after placing an order. To make things worse, the 3 appetizers were delivered 15 min apart from each other, so while one of us was eating, the rest of the party was watching. As for the main course, it seems as if they completely forgot about it and re-confirmed our order with us a few times. I do not understand why this establishment has a 5-star rating on Google, but my opinion is that the serving staff should be fired in case restaurant cares about value and reputation - what was supposed to be a family re-union event turned out to be a horrible experience that we still remember to this day. Food was ok though.

Let's not get carried away, if you're going to charge city prices in the Laurentians, the experience needs to be up to par. $296.10 for two people before taxes, with just a small beer and a small carafe of sake, sets certain expectations. Is the sushi good? To some extent, yes. The quality of the fish is very good. But the presentation is lacking, especially for someone like me who lives in Los Angeles, a mecca for sushi. Sometimes reviews don't tell the full story, it often comes down to perspective and experience, even when you're traveling and craving something familiar. In this case, you're better off waiting until you're home. The deal breaker for me, I always judge a sushi place by how they serve a tuna hand roll. The nori must remain crispy, and the tuna should be pre-mixed in the sauce, not lazily assembled like a shawarma with sauce drizzled on top. What I got was a mushy mess wrapped in soggy seaweed, and at $19 for a hand roll, that's just not acceptable. Positives, the service was good and the ambience was great. But overall, if you're used to high standards, especially from sushi hubs in major cities, you'll want to lower your expectations here, even if the craving hits hard.

Everything was perfect except that we wanted to change our time of arrival and never could get an answer by phone and opentable was too late to change.

Toujours un plaisir du ventre et des yeux. C'est bon et beau et l'accueil est très agréable.

Mertz’s sushi is hands down the best I’ve ever had! Every time I visit Mont-Tremblant, I make the 1.5-hour drive just to pick up his sushi from Bel Air. The freshness, authenticity, and attention to detail in every bite make it far superior to anything I’ve had in Montreal. Even as takeout, the quality remains outstanding—each piece is perfectly crafted and full of flavor. If you’re a sushi lover, you must try Mertz’s sushi. It’s absolutely worth the trip!

Cozy beautiful place in the midst of mountains at Mont Tremblant. The food is exquisite. Best sushi I ever had. Ingredients are top quality. Fish simply melts under tongue. Even the rice has a grain quality of its own. Chef Merts is a gem and so nice and funny too. Kudos to you!

I took my two sons to this restaurant. It was sophisticated, and the food was out of this world. The service was exceptional. The atmosphere is stunning. Highly recommend.

This is the worst dining experience i have ever been apart of, and would not recommend this place to my worst enemy . The service is absolutely awful, i would constantly have to ask when the next course would be coming. For a 6:45pm reservation we left the restaurant around 10:30pm which is insane for the subpar food. 0/10 will never bring my business here again.

There is no excuse for this when the tables around us were seated 30-40 min after, and they received the first and second course before us. That is unacceptable and disrespectful of me and my family’s time.
