Ekki Sushi Tremblant at Bel Air Resort

I visited Ekki Sushi at Bel Air Tremblant and unfortunately the experience was disappointing, especially for the price point. We spent over $300 and expected much higher quality and service.

The wait time for the food was very long, and several dishes lacked freshness and flavor. Salmon sashimi is not even that fresh. Tuna sashimi is smell bad too. Some items looked visually appealing but did not taste memorable or worth the premium pricing at all. The overall experience felt more focused on presentation and luxury branding than actual food quality. It’s not worth it.

The atmosphere and location are beautiful, but the dining experience itself did not match the expectations created by the prices and reputation. The long delays and underwhelming food made the night disappointing overall.

I don’t mind paying high prices for good sushi, but in this case the quality-to-price ratio did not feel justified.

Food is amazing but they can’t make an order right. We order every week from them and they can’t seem to have an order on time or right. Every time, I want to give them a chance because of the quality of the food, but for the price they charge, they should know better ! To add to the irritation there is no email to reach them and no direct line to speak to anyone on site, voice mail is always full.
Eating there is always a gamble with service.

The waiter was racist and disrespectful. We had access to this restaurant with our package at the resort however we received no information for any of the plates we were given. The restaurant also did not respect the allergies we had told them about which resulted in a very dangerous situation for us. The food itself was very average and definently is not worth the premium price. Avoid at all cost!

Not very impressed. Reserved a birthday celebration for my date. Absolutely nothing special about our dinner. Service was sub par. Some of the appetizers were ok. Udon noodle chicken was bland. Our server, who didn’t provide her name, couldn’t even smile. Then when the bill came, she tried to pass an $89 bottle of wine on there that we didn’t have. Had high expectations for a Saturday night romantic birthday dinner. Complete fail. Hard pass…

We called around 6:00 pm to ask about availability for five people at 6:30 pm (low season) and were told there was space. I said we would come right away from Mont-Tremblant, and the person on the phone confirmed and encouraged us to come. They did not ask for my name or contact information.

When we arrived on time, we were told there was no availability and that the wait would be about an hour. They were able to find a record of our call, so there was no misunderstanding that we had spoken—yet no table had been held.

If a customer calls, and is told there is availability and says they are coming immediately, and the restaurant says see you soon, is it not common sense to either hold the table or take a name. Otherwise, what is the purpose of calling?

The situation was frustrating, and when we tried to clarify, the server was very unpleasant in person. Overall, this reflects poor communication and basic service.

Last night was a blast at Ekki Sushi Mont Tremblant. Everything was perfect, the food were really amazing and the people behind it. Thank you so much Chef Mertz and to his 2 assistant chefs Ken and Min. We loved how Chef Mertz explained every sushi they prepared for us and how they creative they are in every detail! 🫶🏻

They have a cozy ambiance and high quality foods. They are also very friendly and hospitable. A wonderful dining experience
