cold atmosphere, the tables were scratched and there were no tablecloths for a restaurant of this category. To start, the starters were good (corn soup and octopus). Regarding the main course (pork chop), it was coated in a sauce that hid a large part of the fat around the chop. Finally, to finish the meal we ordered two B-52 coffees, at $18 a coffee they could have put a sugar rim on the edge of the cup. In conclusion, I don't see the point of going back. Really disappointed.

Simple lunch menu, a bit on the expensive side, was appreciated by our group of 7. Table serivce was great, and the view-ambience was off-the-charts.

Lunch on the terrace. All 5 of us didn't enjoy our plate. The food was either bland or too salty or fat. And the meal took forever to be served. I do not recommend and won't be back.

Lunch menu, limited and food took forever to come out. The waitress also ruined the experience.

Aux Chantignoles is a nice restaurant: great food and service. The only downside, and it comes with where you are staying (at a hotel) is that the dining room feels big and crowded.

Every dish we had at dinner was delicious and well executed, and the service was delightful. By far the best meal we had in Montebello. I was nervous going into the meal because of what seemed like low reviews on Google, but tried it anyway because we were staying at the hotel. We were not disappointed.

The cauliflower and lentils was my favorite (chef's have to work harder to make vegetarian dishes special, and I believe this one was actually vegan). Don't miss the maple sugar pie for dessert.

Vegetarian options: There is actually a separate vegan menu. There are a small number of vegetarian options on the menu, but all were excellent.

Kid-friendliness: There is a nice kids menu.

In July 2024: Succulent meals, salads, vegetables, meat and fish have gone through the smokehouse or the BBQ. Exquisite dessert. Beautiful atmosphere on the magnificent terrace with views of the water, the herb garden and the flowers. Attentive and courteous service; the servers are professional and know the menu well, in short the service is impeccable. There was a good singer to enhance the evening. We will return

The worst Pork I've ever had. Under seasoned, absolutely stiff and not chewable, and worst of all still a raw. I was simply disgusted. I was not ready to receive the WORST dish of my life in this highly acclaimed establishment. The breakfast buffet was amazing but that dinner absolutly ruined my entire experience and my day.

The service was impeccable, and the atmosphere was nicely rustic and heartwarming. They were extremely accommodating for my baby, too bad my food was not edible.

We had a great time. A big thank you to Carl who made our evening legendary. Good advice on the menu, attentive service. Always aware of our needs, he anticipated our requests. Thanks again Carl.

We found the food just okay as it lacked creativity and value for the price being charged. The burrata appetizer was small and had the strange addition of watermelon and pine nuts. The salmon was good but the three small pieces of potato on the plate were undercooked and lacked flavour. My dinner companion had the beef short rib which was flavourful but not as tender as it should be. Overall very disappointed with the food.

We made a reservation here for our anniversary. Although our server, Felix, was wonderful, we were disappointed with where we were sat and felt the food was not worth the cost. Online photos and marketing suggests it is a lot fancier than it felt in person.

We enjoyed our luncheon, with our soup of the day brocoli potage, bread with seeds and lemon butter. Also for entree, cod croquettes. Main dish, Babette's with sweet and sour sauce ( a little under cooked) I ordered medium rare. I would order medium next time, but was tender and edible. A salmon fillet with a curry sauce was delish. Our deserts, pecan pie, was very good with a little ice cream. The so called crème brule, was more like a sugar pie. Tasty, but not the usual crème brule. Would come back.
