Yesterday we were on the Guest List of 212 with 11 people and unfortunately when we arrived there the box was closed except that this information was never communicated to us either by message or on the Internet since it was written open or on Instagram.

Terrible experience. Went there last Friday and everything took forever. Ive never waited to check a coat for 30minutes before…but maybe they were just understaffed that night. It was advertised as a latin music event and they played English hiphop/ rap for most of the night lol there was many aggressive drunk people and it seemed like security wasnt staying on top of it. Me and my friends were harassed by these 3 girls at the coat check and aggressively shoved, telling us to move (we are waiting in line and theres no where else to go?) since they were coming from the bathroom. Fun way to start the night. Later in the night i was making my way through the crowd to go to the bar when the same group of girls saw me and shoved me again, trying to start a fight. I tried to keep my distance and one of them threw their drink in my face. I couldnt see for a solid minute. I went to the security to show him my red eye and drenched hair. He went and confronted them and she lied, so he let it go and just told me to let him know if anything happens again (there was many witnesses but did he try asking? No) Then my bag was stolen. So avoid this club like its the plague. Worst clubbing experience of my life.

When trying to re-enter the club after purchasing a ticket, my coatcheck, several drinks... the security guard from 'archer security', of African origin or haetiemne, approximately 5'9 refused entry of me and 5 other people for the simple reason that I had opened the gate when he was busy letting people in and I had been waiting longer than my task was going to take. He not only caused the club to lose money but also made me speak publicly about it because it was a simple misunderstanding very easily resolved but he decided to not only ignore me but when I asked for a refund for my entry ticket and my coat check (use for 5min) he threatened to beat me and my friends. We decided to leave to avoid problems but that shows a big incompetence and a big lack of respect towards customers.

MAJOR MAJOR Letdown for a First-Time Visitor
As a first-time traveler to this club & Montreal, I was really looking forward to enjoy & dance, but what a disappointment! We bought our tickets in advance, thinking it would make things easier, but instead, we ended up waiting over 40 minutes just to get inside in the cold.
Once we finally made it in, I headed to the bar only to find out they had no cocktails. I had to settle for some overpriced tequila shots at $8 each. The real kicker? After all that waiting, the bartender had the nerve to ask me where my tip was. Seriously? I don’t mind giving tips, but let me take a breather after freezing outside for so long!
To top it off, I saw another girl walk up right after me who was waiting with me in line, and he just handed her a drink for free, saying, “It’s on me!” Talk about feeling overlooked and unfairly treated.
All in all, this club was a major letdown. The service was lacking, and the whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth. Not the welcome I was hoping for in a new city! I definitely won't be coming back.

Thank you for replying!! I am still pretty frustrated !! I still believe that the overall experience could have been better. While I understand that your focus is on bottle service and that cocktails aren’t on the menu, it would have been nice to know that in advance.
On the ticket I bought, there was no mention of bottle service only—just that it was a club. Honestly, I’ve been to many, many clubs on this Earth and have never encountered a no-cocktails policy if it’s a bottle service venue. It might be your exclusivity, but it caught me off guard.
As for the $8 drinks, it may be considered low for the area, but when you’re just trying to grab a drink and end up buying four shots due to the no-cocktail policy after waiting outside in the cold for so long, it felt a bit steep. The wait time was frustrating, and while I understand it was a busy night, I did reach the club around 12:10am and then waited for a long time.
Regarding the tipping situation, the approach was very wrong. To my knowledge, there is no law stating that tipping is mandatory,it is only recommended based on the service provided. However, being asked about a tip before ordering my drinks felt very inappropriate.

Worst club in Montreal
Got kicked out of line for no reason and they would not let me back in. What a scam.

I didnt had the chance to see the vibe inside because the doormen outside were too busy doing their power trip attitude, without giving eye contact or a reasonable explanation, without a line up or waiting list……. on a Friday night, so …?
Even wanting to come see people I knew for their birthdays and having a guest list, we were not allowed because of the doorman decisions, which in my opinion, should be reconsider. Not the first time I hear sexist and discriminatory comments, but be careful, it happens a lot here. There are so much other good places to go to : santos, baby”s,
, names, sous bois, Belmont, Flyjin, Stillife, etc… Tourism , AVOID, they need to learn about customer service

Don't go to this club, me and my friends saw a rat come out of their main room. A bartender threw a drink at me in the middle of the crowd and the bouncers are very rude and disrespectful. It’s a very bad image for a tourist trying to discover the nightlife of a beautiful city like Montreal. I've done several clubs and I've never been treated like that. My experience was truly horrible. Be careful and avoid this nightclub.

The staff's behavior was one of the most glaring issues. From the moment we arrived, the guest management team displayed an unprofessional attitude that was both dismissive and abrasive. When asking simple questions about entry policies or wait times, their responses were curt and condescending. It felt as though the staff were more interested in making guests feel unwelcome than ensuring a positive experience. After doing some research on club 212 , everyone experiences highlights mistreatment by security guards. The lack of hospitality is appalling and disgusting, not to forget racial discrimination against black women. As a business inclusivity is something you should access .
The promoters were also part of the issue, believing they can treat people how they want and increase prices on demand just because they can.
A security garden physically assaulted one of my family members and no one batted an eye. This indicates that this is the culture and values that club 212 has and does not care about the clients.
First time in canada and the experience has shown how racist and unfrendly the city is.

HANDS DOWN THE BEST IN THE CITY, please don’t let the bad reviews deter you from experiencing the venue. However bottle service is definitely the way to go if you want to get in without a long wait time.
