On Friday, we attended the event with a guest list. We arrived at 10:45, dressed according to the theme in heels. However, we were asked to step out of line because one person from our group was missing. The staff assured us that once the missing person arrived, they would allow us to enter by bypassing the line on the side since we already did the line.Despite their initial promise, when we attempted to re-enter, the staff refused to let us pass, did not provide any justification for their decision, and claimed that where we were standing was an exit. We complied with their request to redo the line, noticing that other individuals, particularly those who appeared to be white, were allowed to bypass the line exactly where the staff had asked us to wait.Upon reaching the front of the line and being asked about the number of people in our group, we informed the staff that the guest list was for 10 people, but we were only 8. Despite this, we were informed that we were too many and would need to pay for 2 bottles to enter, which was not a condition stated in our invitation. The bouncer informed us that he had the authority to decide who pays and who does not.In an attempt to resolve the issue, we requested to speak to our contact, but the bouncer refused, asserting that his decision regarding our payment was final and could not be overridden. He then asked us to leave to accommodate the people behind us. It was disheartening to experience such treatment, especially as a group of 5 black girls and 3 Asians. We felt compelled to express our disappointment, noting the irony that it often feels necessary to conform to certain stereotypes to receive respect, even from individuals within the same cultural or racial community.

Hands down the best club in Montreal. From the start, they respond to you quickly and are very respectful. Service is just incredible, from calling to making sure we got in the club to changing our shot glasses after every shot. And then music and atmosphere was also one of the best. Mainly played rap songs, and the lights made it extremely fun. Highly recommended.

We were only 5 boys for almost 15 girls and they still asked us to buy a bottle (300$) so the guys could get in. The club is a$$, very small and the vibe is off. The bouncers were insulting the girls (misogynist). Do not recommend this nightclub to anyone.

I wanted to share my extremely disappointing experience at 212 Montreal. Despite my confirmation on the guest list for the evening of December 30, I was confronted with an unacceptable commercial practice upon my arrival.I was required to buy a bottle of alcohol to enter the establishment, a condition that had never been mentioned before. This requirement not only lacks transparency, but is also contrary to the principles of honest and respectful communication with customers.This experience not only ruined my evening, but also tarnished the image of 212 Montreal in my eyes. I was expecting a welcoming and professional establishment, but instead I was met with disappointing practices.I strongly recommend this nightclub to anyone who values honesty and transparency. It is important that future guests are aware of these practices before deciding to visit.

Came to see artist on dec 15th front door service was far from professional, told the crowd club is full nobody is gettin in. it’s a who you know situation over!! suspect.. apparently you need to book a reservation situation? Not to party maybe to eat some raw food stuff tartar gross my opinion. Honestly I wasn’t in the mood to size up the Dorf managing the front with the serious ego issues. Then you got the young punks getting their lil nerd friends in, if if wasn’t for this one Young lad with the dreadlocs to came to cool things over he’s a cool cat . I had no reservation lesson learnt but I will come back because they find ways to land good appearances. This is my first written review ever ! To the managers &owners not sure if you guys care about the customer reviews but stop selling that raw uncooked meat playing wit fire my opinion. Coming back I’ll update the people on the situation for the next event
