INCOMPETENCE!! Very dangerous. Owner and chef do not know the basics of food handling. I had allergic reactions three times, despite the fact that they expressly assured me that the allergen was not in my order. People with allergies or celiacs: stay far away from this restaurant!

I've been living in Montreal for over 20 years & for me this sushi place is the best sushi place here ,so good especially "the thundra" .
Owner is super nice & is always around you can tell he is passionate. Love this place for date nights. 5/5

The quality has gone so down here. The sushi was mushy, it used to be cubes of beautiful fresh fish/ now each piece was over filled with tempura flakes that were either gooey or too crunchy to chew. I had to spit them out. The fish was a pasty mash of chewy pieces. The avocado was black and brown to the point I could taste it had gone bad and fermented. When I asked to speak to the manager to show him my plate of disappointing sushi I waited 15 minutes for him to come to my table. the owner, Tang, told me “this is not bad” that is not bad sushi. Then called me by name and told me he would take 15% off my bill and proceeded to wave the machine in my face to pay immediately. He did not apologize, offer me another plate of food, nothing. Not to mention I have been coming here for over 9 years. I am truly a loyal customer to the owner and his restaurant and have been on a first name basis with him since 2015. I have had birthdays, anniversary’s, date nights and takeouts monthly for nine years here. I have recommended more than 20 of my friends and family here. The last 6 months it has been discouraging to order from 5 saisons because the quality and consistency is gone and below par. I decided to give it one last try and treat myself to what used to be my favourite sushi spot. I am beyond disappointed with the food and his service. I asked if there was a new chef and he looked at me shocked and sternly said no. I paid my bill, left the rest of my plate uneaten and walked out feeling unsatisfied, hungry and upset. I will not return here again. The pictures speak for themselves. Do not spend your money in a place that does not value their regular customers and where they cut corners to save money on their plates of food. So disappointed.

Force to pay the tips is not honest.Tonight we ate food in 5 Saisons Sushi.When we payed the bill the receptionist ( the owner) with very unprofessional and impolite behaviour and speaking forced us to pay the tips and I was really disappointed.

1st timer. Ordered a big sushi and tempura (shrimp and veggies) takeout. Got there to pick things up 15 minutes early. Oddly, my order was ready and sitting in paper bags. Extraordinarily generous portions of...cold shrimp tempura. The sushi was .... sad. This is just...not...real Japanese food. I did call to tell the manager and the response was simply, "I am so sorry about that." I won't go back. Atrocious.

PRIX UN PEU ÉLEVÉ. BEAUCOUP DE CHOIX. Nous y sommes allés à quelques reprises. Hier, à la fin du repas, le patron nous a dit que la dernière fois la serveuse sait tromper dans la facture et qu'il avait enlevé $30 de sa paye. Je lui ai dit que c'était illégal et qu'il était de sa responsabilité d'assumer l'erreur. Il m'a présenté la serveuse et m'a demandé de lui donner l'argent directement à elle. Nous étions 4, le repas a couté $190 (sans vins, café & dessert). Au total, nous avons donné un pourboire de $60 (30+30).
