Food was okay. A&W quality. But the staff, specially that small round black lady ( sorry no name tags on any employees ) is extremely rude. No respect. Can barely talk in french or english, but can say enough to be impolite. No manners, no decency.

Just ordered a simple breakfast combo, the guy at the register started to blame me for not telling him if i wanted the sesame bun or the English muffin. Afterwards, upon receiving my order I only got the sandwich. Again, the cashier blamed me and gave me attitude for his mistake. This is my 3rd time coming here and every time the staff is rude and unprofessional. Until I see a new staff, I will not be bringing my business here. The food was okay at best, service is horrible and the restaurant is not very clean

I go there often so I’m used to the bad service but it just gets worse and worse as time goes. There was only two employees for a lot of customers yesterday and the lady yelled at me to repeat the order three times and still messed it up. Sometimes she puts one order aside and forgets it while she’s preparing another order. The tables are really sticky ew. There should be more staff but imma still go there cuz it’s next to my school.

It's A&W! A classic dining experience. It's what you expect. Familiar and warm childhood memories. And yes, absolutely get the root beer float.

WORST A&W experience we've had. One person doing everything and although she was doing her best, I couldn't help but notice she was handling the food and the cash without gloves or hand washing. I mean...need I say more?
The food was prepared and set under the warm lamp that wasn't on, so by the time we got our food, it was lukewarm at best.
Be prepared to climb a long set of stairs if you want to dine in. The cleanliness was OK and there were barelly any condiments. Bathroom is upstairs but you have to go down to ask for code and then back up again.
Poor location. Will never be back. Best to go to the other nearby location.

Both eggs were over cooked. Toast was not toasted well enough. Asked for 1 sugar in my coffee and got 2 instead. Unfriendly atmosphere and we were the only patrons at 8:00 am. 655 President Kennedy in Montreal.

Never have I experienced horrible service in an A&W EVER!!! No smile or morning greeting. My husband placed his order before me but she asked if we were both taking the gourmet version of breakfast, which I confirmed but also said we’d like our eggs over easy. She looks at me and says rudely « wait!! » And goes back to my husband and asked him how he wanted his eggs etc…totally ignoring me. So then she turns to me and asked the same questions. If she didn’t want to know my order then she should have asked one at a time and not be rude to me. She was preparing our plates and I noticed she put tomatoes on with her bare hands!! No utensil was used!! She way overcooked our eggs and put very white toast on the plate! So we told her we wanted them toasted properly and she cranked up the toaster and put them back in and burned them and asked us if they were ok…one pair of toast she had already put margarine on the so she didn’t even separate those and put them in!!! Really??? Once we were seated my husband got back up and asked that his eggs be redone as instead of over easy liked we asked they were extremely well done. I just gave up and ate what I had. I do NOT recommend this A&W on 655 President Kennedy, Montreal. There was no lineup for this place and now I understand why… very sad as A&W’s have great breakfasts!
