Came and got the breakfast special which comes with coffee, paid extra for orange juice. Asked for my coffee and I was told no. Just orange juice.

A quiet visit which I appreciate. The food was made quickly and looked nice when opening the packaging. The 5 dollar deal is over but I'll keep going to this outlet as they GOT MY ORDER RIGHT!

Visiting Montréal for the day and ran into the most ignorant person standing at cash, didn't speak French or English. Very rude but from the looks of the reviews owner knows and doesn't care sadly

A&W never disappoints when I’m craving a classic, tasty burger with quick and friendly service. Their beef burgers are juicy and made with fresh ingredients, and the buns and toppings are always perfect. The Teen Burger is a favorite of mine.
Their sweet potato fries are crispy and delicious, and the root beer is refreshingly creamy. I also appreciate the vegetarian and chicken options.
The staff are welcoming and efficient, and the restaurant is always clean. Whether it’s a quick lunch or casual dinner, A&W is a reliable spot I keep coming back to. Highly recommend!

First off, I couldn't possibly rate this place lower than three stars because it's near me, is always open and the root beer is sweet and cold.
However, I'd say this restaurant is sometimes a victim of its own success. Come around 3-4 am as people filter out from bars along the Main and you might have to wait for an hour in line just to make your order, only to wait another for them to complete it (well actually they lost your order for 55 minutes in the fray of things, and whipped it up in five). Meanwhile, the complimentary ketchup and little paper cups run out, the garbage overfloweth and the dining area has become an unsightly mess.
Still, the grand regiment of three late shift workers hustles with a smile, remembers your name and deliver to you as good of A&W fare as you've ever had. The crowd is unusually patient and convivial. Small talk sometimes leads to real talk then to jiving to a portable speaker. Trim down the lights a litttle, bring in some extra staff (and a DJ) and this might well make for Montreal's hottest afterhours burger joint.

Always great
I was here on September 8th around 6:15-6:30AM. Food was okay. Coffee tasted old. Ordered an English Muffin Egg & Bacon combo but never received the hash browns even though the worker there charged me for a combo and had more than 10 minutes to prepare the meal. I hope he enjoyed my hash browns instead :).

Bruno is the best. He’s so hardworking and looks out for the best in every customer, he truly deserves a raise and more. He made my Montreal experience so special and fluffed.

Reliable, 24 hour food. Big street restaurant problems as well as A&W's generally bad price/performance ratio.

Decent. Workers dont know much English but they are friendly for the most part.
Store doesn't offer the Beyond Meat burger anymore. Shame to see, guess I won't eat there anymore.
