We were warmly welcomed by the restaurant's owner, Brett. We were very impressed with the excellent quality and abundance of the food. The waitstaff were top-notch, and the Brazilian music was very pleasant and at a suitable volume. I strongly recommend this restaurant, not only for Brazilians, but Canadians and visitors from all over the world.

Delicious feijoada! Very authentic. I’m definitely coming back. I think this is the best Brazilian restaurant I’ve been so far in Canada.

Perfect service! Very good servings, the staff is amazing and the place is super cozy. I will definitely come back many times!
Ordered to take out, got a Frango a Milanesa which was just a bit dry but flavor wise was really good
Delicious food and great friendly service. Only thing is the heat inside and a bit of lack of ventilation.
Here with a group of 10 people. They were very accommodating, the seating was great but also the food recommendations were on point. Very tasty food and lots of laughs were had.
If I could rate this place with six stars, I would.

Food was unbelievable. Host took incredible care of our group
The quality of the food was not bad but the portion of the orders are small compared with what you pay. The ventilation in the dining is not great and my clothes smelled like food after we left.
We were craving pastel and decided to try Acajou Restaurant. Unfortunately, I left still craving pastel.
The taste was nothing like a traditional Brazilian pastel — it felt more like a fried dough with cheese inside, lacking flavor and crunch. The pão de queijo also didn’t resemble the real Brazilian version at all.
Service was slow, and the food took even longer to come out, even though we only ordered two pastéis and a portion of pão de queijo.
Another downside is the smoke from the kitchen, which spreads throughout the entire restaurant.
Overall, my experience wasn’t great. Maybe it’s worth a visit if you’re going for the barbecue, but if you’re looking for good pastel, this is definitely not the place.
The food is great, feijoada was amazing, definitely a must! The staff is super friendly, so is the owner. We’ll definitely be back on our next visit to Montreal.
Good food, but they have kids playing piano. It is extremely annoying
