I loved Antipode! Our server was kind and patient. We had to wait for our food but it was a reasonable amount of time. We never felt rushed. The prices are fair (they still have the 15% tip option, which is excellent). The food itself was delicious. I really loved the croque tartiflette. The sauce and caramelized onions were delicious. I would recommend you arrive slightly before 10h and start doing the line. It took a while for the second group to come in. So we were very happy to be amongst the first groups to be served for brunch.Dietary restrictions: Most items contain nuts, but it's well indicated in the menu

The pistachio latte and croque madame were delicious. Will go back to try the pain perdu which I heard is amazing.

My friend and i shared the yuzu dish which had a really unique taste and chicken and waffles, which was especially good. For drinks, we had the tiramisu latte which was out of this world. The taste and presentation was 10/10 and I’ve recommended it to all of my friends ever since - all of whom visited and loved it as well. Would definitely love to go back to try the latte again and the mushroom truffle benedict

The food was pretty good! I got the pain perdu and my friend ordered the croque monsieur. I love how there was burnt/melted cheese at the bottom! It gave the dish a nice crunch. My pain perdu had some yuzu on the sides (the dots) and it was really filling! We didn’t end up finishing everything but it was delicious. I took a star off bc I got a rose latte and it was so chunky I had 2 sips and abandoned it! My friend got the pistachio latte and thoroughly enjoyed her drink. Cute decor, I can see why it’s a popular spot in Montreal

Decent pistachio latte. $8.50 is a little too expensive, we suspect almond extract essence. The eggs benedict were very good. The health of employees leaves something to be desired. When you blow your nose, you wash your hands, you DO NOT continue to make coffee ?.

I just tried it and frankly, top service and top product quality too. I made a mistake in my order, but they didn't charge me for it (I was ready to pay). I highly recommend. Welcoming and warm staff

Saw this on TikTok and figured we’d give it a try. Totally worth it! Luckily, we got in line early so we got in right when the doors opened. But if you are stuck in line, they’ll bring you complimentary chocolate croissants if you’re waiting in line! The lattes were beautiful and tasty. The meals were so flavorful, and were presented with such care for breakfast food.I’ll definitely be back here next time I’m in Montreal.

It's so worth the hype, even if you are just going for the pistacchio latte...The place opens at 10 am every day. We got there at 10:30 and had to wait 35 minutes for a table. But you know what? It wasn't that bad since the waitstaff came outside and brought us all some chocolatines while we waited. Finally our table was ready and our waitress sat us by the window. It was the best view for the spectators waiting in line, lol. After she graciously answered all our questions, she took our order. I opted for the Merguez Shakshuka because it seemed like the most popular dish. My friend ordered the truffle and mushroom eggs benedict. Both dishes were equally delicious, but the pistacchio latte was definitely the highlight of our meal.I would definitely come back, even if it's just for the pistacchio latte :-)

Personally, I came to discover and I find that this place is more or less on the side (customer effect from the Plateau)! I'm not impressed by the service, and even less by the dishes ordered: pistachio latte, way too expensive to pay for simple pistachios stuck around the glass with a latte, which is more normal, simple mocha but served barely warm! As for the croque tartiflette, frankly nothing to wow about in terms of flavor and the mushroom/truffle eggs benedict, well we're still looking for the taste of truffles! So to have a brunch without waiting the place is correct, but to make the line up at 1:30 and well no!

I understand the hype. Food and drink look great, the inside looks very well put together with nice chairs and the deco, you have the open kitchen…However my lavande latte was the most artificial disgusting thing. Looked great tasted like death. I usually good with floral flavours in my food and drinks. This was awful. My chicken and waffles looked so pretty. Chicken was not cooked in the inside ?Did any of the servers came to us to check if we were good after they brought our food? Nope. It was until the runner (!) came for our plates and my boyfriend had finished his plate (a croque monsieur thank god they did this one good)I told the runner about my drink and my food they didn’t charge us for my drink.I understand I should be more gentil as I went on a Saturday at brunch time with the place packed and servers running up and down but I wanted to treat myself for my bday. I regret going there. Next time for inexistant service and bad food I’ll go to McDo.Edit: and of course. I got food poisoning.

We went for brunch early during a weekday, no waiting in line, a lot of empty tables. Tables are very close together. High ceiling, plenty of light, a lot of plugs so I guess students and remote workers are welcome when it is not busy. “Cute” decor, very social media / influencer type of decot. This is why it’s so popular these days.Food was the dealbreaker for us.I ordered the Nutella smarties drink, flavour-wise it was quite weak, yes it has Nutella and smarties around the rim, cute for the photo but that’s about it.I ordered the Croque Tartiflette, the tomato & pepper puree as base (I guess from the Chakchouka?) kills the rest of the flavours… the Tartiflette in the name is totally misleading. One of us unfortunately found a hair on their plate. Obviously, this changed the vibe for the occasion. Waitress offered the person a discount and a free drink, which was declined… when this happens most people won’t want to try anything else from the menu ??‍♀️… It could have been handled betterIt’s overpriced. Parking in the area is really difficult.Wheelchair accessibility: There are 1-2 steps to go inside.

After watching a post on Instagram, my friend and I went to this cozy place. We waited an hour and half to get in. The staff was kind enough to offer pastry and hot beverage for those who were waiting outside. We ordered Tiramisu and Pistachio latte which were amazing. We also ordered mushroom and truffle Eggs Benedict, Salmon egg Benedict and the toast sandwich. The food was very tasty, we found the sauce mouthwatering. The only negative point was that the food served cold.Overall experience was good but not worth an hour and half of waiting in cold weather for sure!
