best Bangladeshi restaurant in Montreal
A must try to taste wonderfully delicious food and uniquely Bangladeshi cuisine.
The food was good but the service was disappointing. I ordered a fuchka and roast for dining in and had a family platter for takeout. And although my dine in bill was $20 I had to pay $10 dollars service fee because they made one bill for my whole purchase. I always tip when I go to restaurants but adding a service fee for my takeout account was non-transparent and felt like a scam.
Best service

ASK FOR DETAILED BILL FIRST BEFORE YOU PAY!!!
The food quality went down so as the quality. Realized we were charged more after we left the place.
We felt like robbed. Thanks for the lessons, not going back anymore.

If you are looking for authentic Bengali cuisine in Montreal I would highly recommend Appayon! We ordered
1) Appayon special combo( 8.5/10)
2) beef tehari (8/10) (beef was soft and tender)
3) shutki vorta - (6.5/10) (it was not that spicy)
4) rup chada mach - (7.5/10)
5) beef bhuna (8.5/10)
6) dudh cha (8.5/10)
Portion size is good and the food was really yummy! Staff and service was good . Price is reasonable.
** Their appayon special roast was too good just like Bangladesh’s bie barir roast.

So bad food...
meat is so hard like rock.
and its smelly .
i ordered 3 times before and the quality is bad for all the time
they make it mandatory to pay a so-called 'service charge' even if u pay in cash which makes the food expensive...avoid this scam place.

Appayon is a authentic Bangladeshi restaurant in montreal but why are you being so cheap ? who charged money for plastic Cutlery ?? guys be professional , and you are living in Canada .. even in Bangladesh those things are free and in Canada go to any restaurant , take whatever you want , they won't charge you but Appayon's owner be like 🤣🤣

This spot has the best Bengali food ever, it has been meeting quality standards for years now. Very friendly and inviting and the prices are fair. I just drove from Ottawa to Montreal and got the chicken roast and the tea. Highly recommend.
