Food is great, but I cannot in good conscience give a positive rating to a place that has such terrible ventilation. The entire place reeks of burning butter, not through improper cooking, but just because the goods are clearly not pulling enough air. If you're seated near the kitchen and and you'll smell like movie popcorn for days.

An absolute gem of a place to enjoy your brunch!! The food is delicious, I tried the Latke Smorgasbord and the famous Syrniki. The smorgasbord was a perfect blend of Jewish cuisine with eggs, salmon and the challah bread! Loved the famous syrniki pancake for its fluffy and flavourful texture. I’ll be revisiting for sure!

If you're planning to go for weekend brunch, they don't take reservations. Be ready to wait for 1 hr easily outside the restaurant. You just have to put your name down. I would say it is worth the wait. Really enjoyed the food (chicken schnitzel sandwich, roast beef sandwich, cottage cheese pancakes) and the ambiance of the place. The cottaage cheese pancakes were really to die for, craving for more. Have to visit back. I did find the place to be stuffy and pretty crowded. Moving around was a bit of a challenge.
So worth the wait and money. Best brunch i had in Mtl. Syrniki’s are just unbelievable.

Good lunch restaurant. The choices are very varied and very different from other restaurants of the same type (5). The omelettes are excellent. However they only have regular filter coffee. However, they allow you to go get a cappuccino or latte in a nearby restaurant. Very nice atmosphere but noisy (4). The service is courteous and friendly (5). I recommend even if the prices are moderately high.

We just had the best breakfast in Montréal, and it definitely lives up to the hype! The atmosphere is vibrant, and the servers are always attentive, ensuring that service remains top-notch without compromising on the quality of the food. We tried the Syrniki cottage cheese pancakes and the Moroccan toast, both of which were hearty and absolutely worth every penny. The coffee was excellent too. Reminded us of one of those vintage cafes that you see on Pinterest. Anyone who visits this place is sure to leave as a fan. Sending lots of love from Ottawa!
