I had been in Montreal for a couple of days working. This little restaurant save me!

I didn’t have much time to wonder during the day, so I almost went every day for lunch. Affordable and delicious!

Both the beef broth, and the chicken broth are just amazing. You can taste the quality, the absence of MSG, and the collagen.

There are no many restaurants in Montreal who make great Pho. Luckily for us Au 14 is one of them ☺️

We all got a Bun and it was a great experience. It reminded me the Bun I had during my honeymoon in Vietnam years ago!

The Vietnamese restaurant at 14 Prince-Arthur Street in Montreal is a welcoming spot that blends comforting flavors with a relaxed, unpretentious atmosphere. For photographers from Photolator, its warm lighting, simple décor, and colorful plates offer plenty of opportunities to capture authentic, down-to-earth dining scenes.

The menu covers all the classics — fragrant pho with rich, slow-simmered broth, fresh spring rolls with vibrant herbs, and generous vermicelli bowls topped with perfectly grilled meats. Portions are hearty, flavors are balanced, and the presentation, though home-style, has a natural charm ideal for candid food photography.

Service is attentive yet unfussy, making it a pleasant place to linger after a shoot. Whether you’re looking to recharge between photo sessions or document the soul of Montreal’s diverse food scene, this spot is a flavorful and photogenic choice.

We started going there in 1992, it was amazing food, friendly service, went an avarage three times a week as I lived practically next it. We got to know the family, used to have great talks after closing. As they say nothing last for ever.
I went few times since the family is not running it, what can I say, huge disappointment, run by young arrarrogant not the least friendly, not even Vietnamese girls. Too bad, we used to love this place. By the way the food is still good as the kitchen is run by the same family members.
The atmosphere is not good. Usually almost empty, few tables have customers, well there is reason for that. They better figure it out before it is too late.

One of the oldest family Vietnamese restaurants in Montreal, the grandmother, the mother, the daughter, then the niece... It's an incredible family story that ends up on your plates, it's fresh, it's delicious and the service is incredibly warm. I have been returning there for 14 years each time with great pleasure. Personally, when I don't like a restaurant I don't talk about it, but when a restaurant is worth the trip, you have to shout it out and say it loud and clear... in addition to being good, it's very affordable, around $25-30 per person... a sure favorite if you like world cuisine. 1000 thanks to the whole team... Don't give up

Very tasty food in a family style restaurant. Don't miss it behind all the plants in the window. Generous portions for good prices.

Looks like a real Asian eatery.
It is tasty, but the vegetables come from a jar, which is a shame.
Hygiene is the same as in the country of origin.
