I am SHOCKED that this restaurant made it through the pandemic. I had been thinking of trying this place since I moved to the neighbourhood 8 year ago, and finally had the opportunity last night. We had the chicken and the griot with rice, fries and salad. The chicken was a sad, deep fried leg with little meat. The griot was both fatty and dry. And the vegetables were tasteless. Pass on this one.

Fresh Griot. The griot was moist and yet crispy on the outside, it takes skill to keep it moist. Ohh and the fried plantains, not dried out, but has that crisp crunch when you bite into them. Bright salad with lettuce, tomatoes, onions and carrots. The pillow could have been a bit spicier and a bit more of it, but still has good flavour. Prices are reasonable - 12.50 for a medium plate. Come try for some great Haitian food.

The food is delicious. Only downside, too many onions in the macaroni salad ordered. The vegetable didn't taste sour enough the last time I ate it. Ultimately, prices are so exorbitant on apps like Uber Eats compared to on-site orders.

The service was good but I wouldn't go back. I have been very sick and the place is really dirty and stinks. When we come in the smell really lifts my heart and it's very messy too. The food is not really famous, it lacked taste.

the taste is awful but if that was all it was! I entered the store and then the lady at the cash register was helping herself from the containers where she takes nature to serve to people. (rice) Then she didn't like the taste, she spat the rice into the container then I saw him serving the next customer with this same rice I wanted to vomit.
There should be sanitation workers who should pass more often in restaurants like his... slow service... food that tastes like used oil and portions that are smaller and smaller and more and more expensive
