We were visiting the Jean Talon Market and having breakfast at the Boulangerie Au Pain Doré. We ordered tart , croissant and coffee. All pastries were freshly made and very tasty.

Very cold croissant. First time and last time here. First Harvest at the Jean-Talon Market 100% better. No point trying a croissant here and the cashier was not helpful. She told me it’s cold because they don’t make it every hour. A croissant ? is meant to be eaten hot!

This is a very nice place to stop and have lunch. I had a chicken pesto and swiss cheese sandwich with a rich little chocolate cake and an iced latte. The sandwiches are a little big which is great if you want to share a nice lunch with someone. I highly recommend this place.

No No

Whether it is good or not is random. I bought two viennoiseries. One tasted fresh and the other tasted stale old.

Nice location. The pastry service was good. Soft and crisp pastries. The coffee used is that of the Barista brand. However, that day the coffee machine had a problem. Despite the high traffic, no one had noticed that the coffee had no taste, when I warned the waitress showing her the coffee, she offered to refund me. Indeed after the waitress tried to make me a coffee again, she found that the machine was not working well. Even though I couldn't have coffee that day, I recognize that the waitress is proactive and at the service of the customer.

The coffee is delicious and the staff is incredibly friendly. The warm and welcoming atmosphere created by the smiling and kind staff immediately made me a loyal customer. Highly recommended!

Is an absolute insult when the store manager say to me "...you are too cheap to pay for two coffees...!!!". Visited the store at Sherway Gardens recently. order one coffee, black and a cup of hot water. Since we already have coffee in the morning and just want something less strong! I added hot water to half of the coffee and added some cream. For sure we will not come back to this store ever!!

The desserts I ordered this time were surprising. The lemon cake looks mundane and so is the first bite. However when I taste the filling I was stunned. The filling seems like sour cream but also with some yolk flavor. I really enjoy it. For the chocolate cake, it is extremely heavy because it is so solid and the flavor of chocolate is so dense, the bitter taste of chocolate is outstanding. Two impressive desserts.

Enjoyed their baguettes so much I had to return. I'm only in town for one week but definitely worth the repeat!

This is an amazing bakery. If i lived in Montreal i would be there every day and 200 pounds heavier. So i just make sure i stop everytime I am on Montreal.
