We had such a wonderful evening at Azalea restaurant. The perfect tapas menu and lots of gluten free options for those with allergies. The backyard terrasse is one of a kind and perfect for summer evenings. Attention to detail the perfect menu, service and venue. 5 stars rating all the way.

Menu's were brought out and we were not told until we went to order that half the menu was actually the lunch menu and not possible to order which wasn't made clear at the beginning.
We adjusted our choices and ordered. As the starters came out we were told that one of our main courses was not made and would not be ready for 1-hour so had to pick something else. We had a vegetarian and there were not many options.
We should have been told that the main was not available as we ordered as we would have gone somewhere else.
We ate the starter as it had already come out but it came accompanied by stale bread.
The hostess was in no rush to sort out the situation and was not happy when we cancelled the one main that was available.
Poor selection & lack of communication on what was available made for a very disappointing experience.

The two starters we did receive were tasty, but with most of the menu unavailable and service falling short, it was an overall poor dining experience.
We arrived and were given the menu without being told that more than half of it wasn’t available. Halfway through the meal, the owner told us that most of our dishes weren’t available so had to review the menu on the spot and she provided only a few options that were completely unsuitable
The bread was slightly off, and when my friend had no alternative dish, the server never came back to take a replacement order. Instead, they tried to serve me my main while my friend had nothing to eat.
We felt uncomfortable and decided to leave after the starter. But had to go to the kitchen to ask for the bill to leave. The atmosphere was lacking, with an additional distraction of a party setup happening right beside the dining area. When owner said ‘oh maybe next time’ we made it very clear there would be no next time

Azalea gave a sumptuous meal to 100 people on my 50th birthday. All my guests appreciated it. Each tapas was excellent, fresh and with unique flavors. By the end of the evening, almost everything had been eaten. The service and communication were excellent. An incredible discovery, a memorable evening.
