What a bewitching (wink wink) little place to grab good tea, clever baked treats and shnitzel! Cosy, with a fun, coyly dark aesthetic and run by absolutely charming folks. I felt right at home and wished I could sit there all day, just soaking up the atmosphere and delicious smells coming from the kitchen. I even bought a Cafe Baba Yaga coffee cup to never forget my visit!

Great for a quick comforting lunch.Had the perogies, cabbage salad and latkes. Really liked the taste. Very nice quality and quantity for the price.Unfortunate that none of the sweets were Russian or Eastern-European. We were looking to try some of that too!

So lovely. I've gotten takeout from here twice now, and it's such a joy! Their coffee is super affordably priced, and they have a so many choices of European sweets. Their polish donuts are so light and soft!

5/5! Baba Yaga’s chicken schnitzel sandwich was one of the best sandwiches I have ever had. Everything about it was perfect. The veggie perogies were also top-notch. Can’t wait to order again!

This café is super cozy & well decorated...literally right in front of the Lionel-Groulx metro station. They have a nice variety of meals. I had the crêpes filled with sweet cheese, they’re super sweet but yummy! I for sure recommend this place. Next time I will try the pierogis that everyone is talking positively about.
